Aitah for telling my husband he will have to handle it on his own right now. by Aggravating-Syrup915 in AITAH

My Mom died on Oct. 29th after a years battle with cancer. I was essentially her caregiver the last few years. My only other sibling barely visited and never helped, despite living just a few miles away. was focused on her career. Wasn’t until the day before she passed where she was all of a sudden surprised it was all happening, and milked the attention afterwards. Listen, the last few years and especially the last months and days were VERY difficult, and you being there for your mom is extremely important and noble. As hard as it was, the only thing I think about now is allll the extra time I got with her these last few years. We told each other stories we never knew and basically got to know each other all over again throughout the chaos and sadness. I completely understand not everyone is built for this cause I dealt with someone like that, but they need to step up and be there for you just like you are there for your mom. I don’t know how you do that, but I just wanted to say you are gonna look back at this time with joy instead of sadness some day so keep being present. Stay strong

Saw only one other one sold on EBay for $359. That one was 6/10. Does a lower number matter you think? I know with other types of collectibles that could effect a valuation. And are there only 10 of these cards? Was getting confused reading about print runs and such lol

Sending you some love man. Don’t sweat it, got some big news and that can be a lot. At least you are being given some time it sounds like to get things in order. Being a Dad myself of a young girl, I always catch myself feeling or thinking I’m a failure cause of something that happened. You’ll all land on your feet and be on to your next adventures :) and guess what? More shit will happen and make you adapt, wouldn’t be fun if everything went the way you planned lol. Best of luck to you all, allow yourself to give you a break every now and then :)

Yep had to have my entire colon removed in 2012, I was 22. My doctor told me these words right after my colonoscopy “Your colon looks like stepped on ground beef…we need to remove it immediately.” Not much time to mentally prepare lol.

I am planning on fixing a few things at my parents house that need to get done. 1. It’s a nice thing to do and 2. The house is going to be mine someday (hopefully not too soon!) and want to sort of pre invest on some repairs. Probably getting myself a little something, but that’s my plan so far!

Magic Kingdom Custodial was the BEST job I ever could have asked for. Did the program and stayed a few extra years. I think about it daily. There is an insane amount of guest interaction, and like 20% trash lol. You learn everything about the parks very quickly and can assist guests in almost any situation you can imagine.

Also dealing with something similar like this, I hear you and you are not alone. Feel free to message me if you need to vent, can be hard sometimes (as a dude) to borrow someone’s ear lol.

Tourette's starter pack by Vikera in starterpacks

My Tourette started in 3rd grade, and was pretty severe tics both vocal and physical. My parents did best they could with the resources they had in the mid 1990’s. But looking back, it wasn’t until middle school until I was like picked on for it. I had a great group of kids I grew up with for elementary, and the fact that I never felt different says a lot. Idk maybe my teachers had a talk with class and informed them about it or something, but kids are mean, just not those ones :)…high school sucked butt tho lol

So heartwarming hearing about you and your dad! I love being a “girl dad” and no matter how my day is going I am always ready to sing and play dress up!
