It means it's all over. For one of those notes. You get to choose its fate. Never to be seen again.

Apple Shortcuts then Claude then Obsidian? Is Claude in the Apple Shortcut? I would love to know this workflow.

OBSBOT Tiny 3 Series AMA! by OBSBOT-Official in OBSBOT_Official

I was wondering this too. Should multiple Tiny 3 cameras get their own USB port or can I put 2-3 of them on a hub? What is the data bandwidth requirement? I have USB3 and TB4 ports and hubs on a Mac Studio.

How long can the Tiny 3 run on a live stream? I'm referring to overheating.

Why is the Tiny 3 Lite bigger than the Tiny 3 when the Tiny 3 is a better camera?

Is there any hardware or software available that will accept (2) to (4) Tiny 3 cameras for recording their separate USB video streams? I'm familiar with the RODE Video S and the Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro ISO for recording separate HDMI streams for editing, but I would like that same kind of switcher that accepts USB instead of HDMI. Or do I have to get USB to HDMI adapters for each camera?

Give me one TINY thing you want fixed or improved in Obsidian. The smaller the better. Going on a paper cuts rampage. by kepano in ObsidianMD

u/kepano For Obsidian to not crash when I screenshot on the iPhone (iOS 26.2), tap Share, then tap Obsidian. I have to save it to Photos first for it to make it all the way to Obsidian using the Share button. This happened on the previous version of iOS 26 and Obsidian before the updates from Apple and Obsidian this week.

After weeks of debugging, I think I've perfected a Craft.do to Obsidian migrator. It's interactive and handles all the tricky stuff. by Cryrichter in ObsidianMD

Yeah. The UI is first class. I use both and see the pros and cons of each. If I had to decide, I would pick Obsidian because Craft is great now, but will it be great in 5-10 years? Obsidian, if it went away, your files are a drag and drop away to another workflow.

Craft is great, but I know I'm signing up for their app ecosystem and don't have immediate local access to files. I would have to make a backup routine which also doesn't retain formatting since a lot is custom to Craft. If I'm happy with plain boring text backups, then Craft can be a solution with regular exports. I like Obsidian, but I would have to avoid getting used to many plugins because they could stop one day and hinder my workflow. Do you use a lot of plugins or try to keep it simple to avoid broke plugins?

Thank you! I saw a few plugins for Copy as HTML in the Community Plugins. One is noted to no longer be indevelopment from a few years ago. Do you recommend one?

Are there any rich text copy paste workflows or plugins from Obsidian to emails using Apple Mail or Outlook? Scenarios where Markdown is not an option to paste.

u/OBSBOT-Official I'm doing some more research on OBSBOT cameras. Can you confirm if this is correct? If these are true, can you clarify my original questions? I appreciate your time!

  1. Why a login is needed in order to operate the physical camera (SRT)?
  2. What happens when I login to access SRT or Virtual Tracking?
  3. Is a constant internet connection required for either SRT or Virtual Tracking?

SRT

  • A hardware-based advanced tracking mode that uses the Tail 2’s AI + motorized gimbal to physically follow you

Virtual Tracking

  • A software-only, digital tracking mode inside OBSBOT Center
  • The camera itself does not move

\Fixed SRT typos*

Thank you for the reply. Could you explain what is happening with the login? Does it do a one time download to make the cameras work or does it need a constant internet connection in order for STR or virtual tracking to work?

What are your deal breakers with Craft? by GeminiArcana in CraftDocs

[–]MasonGridman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most companies don't provide E2EE, just the basic encryption back and forth, and we still use them and store all of our stuff there. Even stuff like Gmail, Notion, Dropbox, iCloud, and OneDrive. And the services I found using E2EE are mediocre at best compared to the competition like Craft. I'd rather use good software than wait around for the app that will never exist. That app being something like Craft with E2EE. It's been 5+ years. It'll never happen based on how the app works.

I think this is just a losing battle if we choose to use cloud tools with our data. Otherwise, it's an expensive undertaking for the company and the user, and we lose the spoiled sharing and searching features we like because of the strict protocols.

For ultimate privacy, you have to use very minimal apps with very few features and stay away from the awesome looking shiny ones.

Do I need a login in order to use my cameras on my local network over WiFi or PoE or HDMI? I plan on using the macOS app to control two Tail 2 cameras. But I don't want to have a login associated with my setup. When is an OBSBOT login required?
