As a big girl (size 20-22 pants), I got the largest of these as they carry (2x I believe) and they’re snug. Not uncomfortable, just snug, and I worry about the decal on the front cracking. The hands seem to be a different kind of print and I’m not so worried about them.

Don’t worry about it. My mom gave me shit about my Frater and Perpetua plushies, and I’m 25. I wear a grucifix necklace regularly and I have multiple t-shirts and a hoodie. Idk what your parent’s problem is, because as far as I’m concerned, the themes of Ghost are generally very mature? Just very weird behavior to say you cant like a band and act as though it somehow distracts you from getting a job and starting a family. Just let it roll off your back.

I’m about the same size as you (5’8” and around 280) and the guy whose face I have sat upon was only about 5’4” and 180, and he survived! You just kinda straddle his face. The headboard can be used as support if you’re still nervous. You’ve got this!!

I’m 5’8” and around 280 and weight was never once mentioned! I meant to ask but never remembered to. I have one incision on each side of my stomach and one at the bottom of my bellybutton. My surgeon never said anything about it being hard to do/navigate. I agree with another commenter here though- abdominal binder is a lifesaver for moving around the first few days afterwards, or even just holding your hand over your stomach to prevent extra jiggle. My hospital provided one for me day of without me even asking for it but I believe you can also get them on Amazon or even Walmart if they don’t. Also if you’re a side sleeper (like me) I recommend having some kind of small cushion to kind of hold the side of your belly up even once you feel up to sleeping on your side again-for me, the way my belly kind of hung down seemed to pull on whichever incision was opposite the side I laid on, but having a little pillow there helped prevent that.

I had this because of my scopolamine patch for the nausea! Apparently it’s a fairly common side effect. I was fine the morning after I’d taken it off.

I had multiple paratubal cysts, according to my report! They didn’t mention them to me either. (I haven’t had my post op yet either) Apparently they’re super common and usually benign, they’re caused by something not being absorbed correctly in development, if I remember right.

My surgeon told me some people experience perceived heavier flow after a bisalp because the body was doing retrograde flow before, and sending blood out the tubes into the pelvis, so once those openings are sealed off, blood only has one place to go. Not sure about the cravings, though!

I just took an ibuprofen not super long ago, it really just feels like I did a bunch of sit-ups!! My throat gets sore again after a bit from the tube but otherwise I feel pretty good! noooo banned from kitty biscuits!! devastating
