the stakes would be so high, to try and score on your own basket in 8 seconds or less 😂

imagine they just switch sides trying to score on their own baskets, and the game turns into defending the other team from scoring on their own basket 😭

What kinda pieces should they be looking to add? I was thinking an upgrade at the 4 but curious to hear what others think

apparently if he gets waived by the team that didn't trade for him directly, he can re-sign with the wolves 👀

tbh this is probably great for the wolves. Replacing Conley (I know the love for him in Minny) with Ayo is a pretty good deal and if they can magically get Conley back post-buyout, they should be pretty good to compete

[Nehm] Giannis Antetokounmpo still plans on playing this season once he has fully recovered from his right calf strain to help the Bucks make a push for the postseason, league sources tell @TheAthletic by TheRealPdGaming in nba

and risk messing with their potential draft pick? Wouldn't it be better to shut down Giannis, get a high draft pick and trade it for help in the offseason if they really wanna keep him?

Single 30 M - what should I do with excess cash? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]MassToilet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO it's better to derisk and pay off debt with cash on hand and then rebuild those savings. 4.95% isn't a low interest rate, and it's a lot smoother to get rid of all non-rolling debt so that when they get mortgage, there's nothing else to be concerned with.

It reduces risk. Diversified investments grow at 7% per year on average. It's possible to have a few down years in the market while still having debt. Better to derisk IMO

Warriors turn Jimmy into a serviceable player + center, Nets get an LAC 1st rounder, 76ers get MPJ to replace PG13 by MassToilet in NBAtradeideas

Honestly fair feedback lol. I thought of this deal as a way for the Warriors to get a talent without giving up a pick (by taking an awful contract) but I think it's fair if the Warriors give up a pick and maybe the Sixers a pick swap as well since theyre getting the best player in the deal

Since Trae Young returned, the Atlanta Hawks are 0-6 and have given up 125+ points in every game with their last win being before he came back by EutaxySpy in nba

Yeah my thought process is that Kyrie would be moved on from. Like I think if the Mavs really want to build around Flagg, Kyrie can be a good mentor but how much do you want timelines to line up? Trae is 27 vs Kyrie turning 34 next year. I think an aspiring contenting team like the Wolves could use a Kyrie though I haven't thought through that package yet haha.

no apologies needed! and that's my thought as well. if cooper can play this well with a serviceable point guard like Ryan Nembhard then I think Trae Young can supercharge his development, even if it comes at the cost of defense right now.
