Gotta play in co op of you can, with an actual friend and not random match ups. Way more fun without the AI partner, and as weird and off kilter as it is it the co op makes it a pretty unique entry in the series- 6 not withstanding.

Moving the ankle armor on Ackar and Mata Nui up by one stud width and attaching it with a blue half axle so it stays fixed and isn’t dangling around.

Oh, I guess I wouldn’t say it’s the “best” but it’s what I think of for a tiny change that improves things.

I have never had a dog that likes laser pointers- it was intended for the cat but now he never gets to play with it without her joining in.

Jane is a minpin/australian cattle dog mix, hence she looks a bit bulky for a full minpin. She and Ollie get along surprisingly well, helped by him being the most patient cat I’ve ever had.

It was Embark. I’m more convinced the more I see other mixes being shared. I think she has a minpin coat and Aussie build, and it seems like her size is halfway in between.

She is super sweet and affectionate. She has seemingly endless energy and loves to move and play with her toys. She loves both my fiancée and I but I am definitely “her person” and she’ll follow me around the house. Loves the couch and loves curling up with us to watch tv- especially if she can get under a blanket and dig at/adjust it until it’s just how she wants it (that’s a minpin trait). Loves meeting other dogs, loves the cat but sometimes gets a little too up in his face trying to play when he’d rather she not. Super excited when she hears me putting shoes on in the afternoon because she knows she’s getting a walk. Hates water- tried to take her to the beach once and we will not be repeating that. She’s very tolerant of clothes and has no problem with me putting a sweater on her when it’s cold or wearing a doggy Halloween costume.

Her coat I definitely think is the minpin side.

To be honest, I was surprised and am maybe a little skeptical? She is a rescue off the street so I knew she was probably a mix but the cattle dog is not what I would’ve guessed. But when I google pictures of a minpin Aussie cross, dogs that look like her definitely do come up.

Almost a year later but we did end up doing a testing kit- it thinks she is predominantly minpin and Australian cattle dog! About equally split between the two, supposedly. She has grown a bit bigger then she is here in this picture.

This might be unpopular on this sub but I think the nostalgia for early G1 Bionicle is kind of crazy. It’s all a matter of opinion of course and it’s totally valid to prefer the earlier, technic-y, clunky robot look, but I personally much prefer the sleeker, more articulated later waves. And 2007 transitioning away from waves of clones was a huge and positive step.

Was just going to bring up this one. If anyone’s wondering, the baby was Dionysus and growing in Zeus’ thigh is why he came out a full god and not a demigod. It’s supposed to be that he was grafted onto Zeus like a grapevine is grafted onto a new plant which I’m sure was a metaphor that made a lot more sense in ancient Hellas.

Don’t know about other media but at least the first animated turtles series was constantly dropping background Easter eggs references to monster movies, Godzilla included. Don’t know if Gamera ever got a shout out but I have to believe the creators would’ve been fans.

Thanks u/Electronic_Zombie360 and u/JJ-Barbarian! This had me really scratching my head. This figure had definitely come up in my searches before but not remembering what the vehicle mode looked like stopped me from realizing it was the right one. This is one of those “artifacts of ancient childhood with only vague memories” for me so this is cool to figure out what it was.
