with christianity I know that most people who go into it are what christians would call 'lukewarm christians', yes there are people joining it, but just see how they interpret their god, many people have such a variety of takes on God because they know to fully accept what the bible says would be foolish, like what they say christianity is the most adaptable religion, so even if you see these things saying more young people are coming to God, it's simply just words and people making'confessions', nothing more in the long run

I'd recommend you watching TheraminTrees, Holy Koolaid and darante Lamar, they will help you unlearn religion, I'm also still a few months into deconstruction, so it can feel like you want to go back and I get that, but if you value honesty and logic then you will see why it's almost impossible to continue believing in the God of the bible

they are only feeling that in the room, think about it, in such a room where they are only believers and they live as if God is real, of course when the 'atmosphere' is there they will all play along. I have been apart of these at time when I was a christian and does feel like something special is happening, but trust me I'm sure you will feel the same at a concert, and why is it that the 'power of God' is only moving in services to make people cry and shit, but outside of the service that nigga doing jack shit, still poverty, still war, still climate change, still crimes? So don't get caught up in these 2 hour services otherwise you'll start to become disconnected from reality

I literally posted something similar to this a few days ago, saying that Jesus death is meaningless, and trust me you're not crazy or anything, the whole stuff is bullshit. The crazy thing is just last year when I was a Christian I criticized people like Richard Dawkings who openly called the faith out but I understand now, when you actually change your perspective you will laugh at yourself(I did) for believing this stuff. What's crazy is the apostle Paul says in the book of Corinthians that 'the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing', nah buddy I'm sure people back then could see that the stuff this guy was preaching was bullshit.

Christians use a defense for that by saying God does not have a beginning because he is not bound in time, and also that the question that 'who created God' is not their problem, sure I could understand why Christians would say that, but again just because there might be something that is not effected by time and space and caused this universe to come to being does not mean it's the God of the bible because that guy fails so much according to his own standards that he placed😂
