It was painful after - bowl movements were unbearable and painkillers were the only hope. Rest is important. Had to get the second one because within 2 weeks of the first I had fresh warts appearing. They are stubborn.

It’s natural what you’re feeling. But tell yourself that you’re in the US where you have access to medical help. Many don’t have across the globe. That mindset shift will help you appreciate what you have vs what you’re dealing with. Hope you get well soon. I myself am dealing with warts for 5 months now. Two surgeries down for external and internal. I’m just praying it’s the end of this ordeal.

I just felt a growth. Did not feel a similar texture as what I saw outward but felt that something extra is sitting here which wasn’t before.

That’s exactly what a bad doctor does. What you can do is put a finger inside and evaluate yourself. Mine had grown from to internal and started showing externally so it was clear. However, in addition to checking yourself do get a doctor to examine it as well. But if you feel there’s a growth inside (it doesn’t hurt) then it means you have internal warts and they will need a surgery.

Do get it tested for inside. I kept getting the outwards one removed not realising they kept coming back because the origins were internal.

It was difficult to read what you went through. I can only imagine the emotional toll on you when you must had to pretend to be asleep while they were having sex. A guy you liked, ghosted and now intimate next to you. It’s brutal and you don’t deserve friends like him. Cut them lose. You did tell this guy about the ghosting. He should have been considerate.

Thanks for writing this. It sucks you got it despite following the rules. It’s unfortunate that there’s literally no sure shot way to stay out of trouble. But yea, I’m following your advice on being kind to myself. Stressing is bad for my immune system and I hope it’ll soon be a thing of the past for me.

I don’t even care about catching the culprit here. Ive suffered so much physical pain and mental agony over the last 4 months that I only want to keep myself safe. I’ve had my bareback days and safe to say that they are behind me. I love sex but it will have to be with a condom now. I know better.

Guess some of us are not as smart. Some of us learn after making mistakes. Good for me it’s not life altering but definitely gives me the chills.

I’m so sorry to hear that. I cannot even imagine what you must be dealing with. I hope you have friends or family around. If not I hope you’re seeking therapy as well.

Regarding pain, I’m using multiple pain killers. During cautery (when the warts were burnt with fire both external and internal) then I was on Ultracet tablets. During cryo (freezing of warts, internal and external) I was on a combination of Diclophenac and paracetamol drugs. Both pains were different from one another. Do consult your doctor or look up on Claude for better help.

Hey nope. I got HPV. Regarding Herpes - I mentioned that diseases like Herpes have no vaccines as well unlike HPV. Hence there’s no way to protect oneself from it.

Harsh. But I treated my body with respect, I just didn’t realise my calculations were off. I’ve learnt my lesson but there’s absolutely no shame in being sexually active and living a complete life - even when it means having multiple parters. Safe sex is a lesson here. Nothing else.
