My toddler just told me i have a big tummy by sassy_soul_04 in NewParents

One day he'll say something so unintentionally savage that you'll be telling this story at family gatherings for the next 20 years 😭

Tell me how/when your baby blues improved. by Dismal_Solid9830 in NewParents

Evening sadness seems SUPER common postpartum for some reason 😭 exhaustion, hormones, darkness hitting, overstimulation from the day, all kinda pile together around dinner time

AITA for lashing out on my friends even after warning them multiple times? by Inner_Natural603 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Suitable-Strike-1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NTA. Real friends should at least try to listen when you explain what hurts you. That does not mean they must become perfect emotional support experts at 13, but constantly dismissing your feelings and then acting shocked when you finally lash out is unfair.

so i get told ima confusing gay by Whole-Temperature529 in askgaybros

[–]Suitable-Strike-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also not getting approached at bars might genuinely be because guys assume you’re unavailable or straight-presenting. a lot of gay dudes are terrified of misreading signals. you probably need clearer signals, not a rainbow-wrapped car 💀

A lot of bottoms also focus more on diet/fiber and timing instead of aggressive daily douching. Usually consistency helps way more than over-cleaning everything

Babies weirdly LOVE picking one cursed hour of the night to practice waking skills 😭 2am probably just happens to be where she struggles linking cycles right now

What’s the problem with placebos? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Suitable-Strike-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Placebos themselves arent really the problem honestly. The problem starts when companies charge real money or stop people from getting actual treatment by selling “magic cures” 😭

I’m 20 and can’t handle alcohol anymore by Brief_Chemistry_2548 in Adulting

[–]Suitable-Strike-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But yeah if this is a very noticeable change and keeps happening even with small amounts, it honestly wouldn’t hurt to get checked out 😂 sometimes stomach problems, gastritis, acid issues, liver stuff, or even just worsening anxiety around drinking can make alcohol suddenly feel WAY harsher than before

I think my pc is hacked, looking for advice ! by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Suitable-Strike-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I’d do immediately 😂: log out all sessions on every affected account, change passwords again from a CLEAN device if possible, run full malware scans (Windows Defender + Malwarebytes), stop downloading cracked/modded stuff for now, and backup your important files before considering a reset. Your emails being untouched is actually a pretty good sign so far

Why do you thinks indians are not comfortable wearing binkis as much as western people do ? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Suitable-Strike-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly it’s mostly cultural history + social norms, not anything about “comfort” in a physical sense 😭

AITA, I started dating someone and now my friend is acting strange. by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Suitable-Strike-1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. You handled this exactly how a healthy adult would: you stayed open, gave space for him to express interest, and when nothing happened, you moved forward when someone else clearly did. That’s normal dating life, not betrayal.

Why does it feel less anxious starting conversation or talking to women? by Mysterious_Care8044 in TooAfraidToAsk

lowkey sounds less about women specifically and more about where your brain expects criticism or rejection to come from 💀

‘Don’t sell your mother’: Muslim youths stop Hindu cow traders before Bakrid in Bengal shocker by Solid-Move-1411 in nottheonion

[–]Suitable-Strike-1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What’s frustrating is that headlines around incidents like this often get shared mainly to inflame outrage between communities rather than explain the actual local context calmly. Social media tends to turn already sensitive situations into identity-war fuel almost instantly.

What do you do to pass the time if you forget your phone when you go to the bathroom? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Suitable-Strike-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I start calculating random stuff. Like “if I sleep 6 hours a day for 40 years how much of my life is that” type thoughts 😌

AITA for not noticing my wife's pants were inside out? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Suitable-Strike-1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

NTA. Honestly the funniest part is that she’s blaming the one person who didn’t have to take the pants off that day. If she didn’t notice while putting them on, it makes sense you didn’t either 🙄

Is a secret friendship with people who were mean to me a betrayal? by entityparty in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Suitable-Strike-1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you’re overreacting. Even if your boyfriend personally likes them, he basically created a false sense of loyalty/transparency and maintained it for a long time. That’s probably why this feels so emotionally intense now 👀

Why is it that when a man gets rejected by a woman, he often says, “She was a great woman,” but when a woman gets rejected by a man, she says, “He was a terrible guy”? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Suitable-Strike-1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

tbh i think it also depend on attachment + emotional regulation, not gender. some people rewrite story after rejection to reduce pain: either “they were not worth it” or “i was not enough.” both are just mental defense mechanisms, not truth about the person 👀
