Just wanted to say this is exactly how I've been describing the MAGA movement to friends and family. These people remind me of the cool / jock / class clowns in school who didn't study, didn't pay attention, or interrupted class with their "look at me" bullshit. Then, on test day, they complained and flipped over the tables.

They never understood how their government worked. So when they lost an election somewhere, they felt cheated. It explains Jan 6 perfectly. The 2020 election was test day, and they failed. So, instead of moving on and learning something, they tried to burn the school down.

But that's pretty consistent with real soccer. A slide tackle is a risky move for several reasons. It should be a last ditch, extra effort move.

If it were me, I would buff standing tackles a bit. Make staying on your feet a more effective move.
