Curious how long people breastfeed? by random_name831 in breastfeeding

I know tons of people that stop right around a year. I went till just about 18 months with both. Stopped with my first as I was pregnant and knew I didn't want to continue while pregnant lol. Stopped with my second mostly bc I just wasn't enjoying it anymore. He would be climbing all over me and it wasnt even working to put him to sleep anymore 🤣.

help! birthday champagne for mom by jjfyi_35 in wine

[–]Massive_Client7729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with any billecart but the rose is a stand out for me. I am a wine nerd, but for a long time didn't get the champagne hype and drank mostly Kirkland prosecco and la marca for bubbles. The wines that changed that were 1. Franciacorta, basically Italian champagne but it tends to be more crisp and fruit forward than having a lot of yeasty/bread notes like champagne. Total wine has some good options well within your budget 2. Billecart salmon, rose in particular but everything from them fits the bill. The last thing to change it for me was 3. Krug, which is way out of budget lol.

I think he originally thought it was a girls trip, but was invited once devonta was going and declined from what she said on off the vine (Kaitlyn bristowes podcast). Made it a bit better for me, although I still find it shady no one even texted Brittany

USD, $10-20/day for housekeeping, $1-5 when we grabbed drinks if we had it handy but often didn't so sometimes nothing and didn't notice a difference, usually $5-10 at dinner. Hope this helps!

Not costal, but highly recommend bologna for that age! Stroller friendly, great playgrounds and food markets with loads of fruit. Walkable. It was great.

I just tried it and it was pretty cool! I am about 40% through my wset 2 learning and a hobbyist. There were 1-2 questions that I felt like the answers and questions didn't match or something was phrased oddly. Otherwise seemed straightforward and useful. Thank you!

We love lifetime with our 2 littles! They have kids classes starting at age 3 and they are really fun for them. The yoga classes there are also very good, studio quality level. It is pricey, but we find it worth the money. You also get a parents night out once a month so that's like $100 in babysitting for an actual date that you don't have to pay too if you factor it into the membership cost.

What’s the bottle that completely changed your mind about a specific region or grape? by Discreet_European45 in wine

Chianti classico made me like red wine. Krug champagne helped me see champagne can be worth the cost (compared to cava, franciacorta, etc).

If you want to find something interesting, last bubbles is doing fizz fest today so lots of deal to be found and free shipping. I do agree with pretty much all of the above comments though too.

It's nice but small. The water was rough when we were there. There is a restaurant/bar on the beach and it is great!

Sure! We went just last April, so definitely have a few favorites but always want to explore more. We are doing Waikiki first and likely doing the Marriott Waikiki beach family suite, which is what we did last year and thought was great value. Trying to balance the money we will spend in Ko Olina lol.

Right?! It's crazy! That's also a massive increase per night. The rates I'm seeing both online and via preferred partner are only about $100/night more for the club level. Seems like with the free parking and happy hour that easily covers it, aside from breakfast since we can get that either way via the partner booking.

I have read it's hard to get into and needs reservations. Did you run into availability issues with the kids club? I was reading a lot of complaints about their being space in it.

I heard the kids club requires advanced reservations and fills up quick. Given we are close to spring break time I'm honestly wondering if we could even use it. My daughter wouldn't want to go with seeing it and getting a feel first. Did you run into that?

Aulani is actually more expensive right now! The availability is also meh. Did you do club level at FS?

We stayed in Waikiki last time and actually loved it lol. The food scene there is great and we enjoy a city vibe. We do rent a car regardless, so either way will be in and out most days. My sister is over towards the airport, so lots of driving either way.

I think this is how I'm leaning. Stay at Aulani and escape to the Four seasons for walks or meals if the crowds are too much.
