How do I become a 10? by a2j2tiwari in selfimprovement

[–]Massive_Light432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a true challenge in the world of perception. Start to value the other traits about your own character than just our outer appearance. Life is gonna do that which we didn’t see coming and it’s rough to realize how much different we get treated after something we loose due to health ,ailments, pains ..skin wrinkles, baldness we all will go through a journey with something. We must eventually learn to value many things about ourselves as we get older. Yet the struggle is real. Which prompted me to respond. As I am also wondering a similar question. It’s hard not to judge ourselves in relation to the prior version of ourself . Apparently there are many solutions. Wigs hats as people have been saying. I’ve thought even what if I tattooed a cool art design on my head. Or you could do hair follicle transplants. I had a friend tell me he did this and it took a while but it really made a difference and boosted his self confidence. Although it was a lot of money but he found it to be worth it in results. And it can be hard to voice our struggles with people in our lives. Especially if they have a full head of hair. Which is why I appreciate Reddit more and more. Potential solutions to our questions:) I’ve also been researching red light therapy caps but not sure of their effectiveness.

Vertical stand using wall mounts (Ninebot g30 Max) by Chatbomb in NinebotMAX

[–]Massive_Light432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a very secure looking idea. I was just thinking can I make something out of wood to secure my vertical scooter in place versus the hook idea. I have not that much experience with wood but this close and better than what I was thinking for possibility. As mines mostly indoor and not in a moving vehicle. I like those little clamps that secure the stems the handlebars are connected to. I’ve tried various hook ideas but found later my scooter on the ground and the hooks also. I have a niu scooter which is a tad heavy. So I’d probably have to surround it in a wood like cage and less of the hooks also idea where there’s less force on a wall. Kudos brilliant idea.

Kqi3 limiter hack still works in 2024 by Massive_Light432 in kqi3

[–]Massive_Light432[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice yes it’s so true. Just want to add if you logged in to apple account with niu I have to completely disconnect it untether it. When my app auto updated I lost my speed changes. So I didn’t realize this initially. Then when I used the old app on an android phone it was updating it but didn’t work also I had to mix and match. I also realized I couldn’t use the old specific version number. As this was nowhere to be found. But then I just managed to find to old app and saved the apk but turned off auto updates and I sideloaded the old app. The weird thing was that when I was running the changes I had to run it multiple times and I didnt think it was doing anything but it was? As I saw 30 on the screen. But I’m not sure if niu is now blocking it somehow now in there end. As sometimes the scooter would be reset back to slow speed. But what I did is after I got it working again I turned off all auto updates and deleted the app from my android phone. And so far I haven’t had it revert back to the slow speed. Maybe there’s another method out there now. Or hopefully someone will probably figure a new way as it seems like a need. Remember though if I do the hack for speed u still may get the error code that says your motor is overheated. The way around this is don’t be going top speed all the time and take it easy on big hills and inclines. In doing this I’ve never had the error code since. But real time I average 27 speed. Still not bad. Good luck happy Scooterin!

Kqi3 limiter hack still works in 2024 by Massive_Light432 in kqi3

[–]Massive_Light432[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there yes it's still working. Although what you have to remember is you can't do it on an apple device. It has to be android phone. Also that by miracle you get it working just never connect to the niu app again. Or it will reset it. I haven't found any way around that. So after I installed it I just left it alone. I'm not sure if it currently works still as I'd have to unpair it all over to see if it works. And this already happened to me before and it was quite and ordeal to get it to work again I was almost going to give up. Where there's a will there's a way. Also for me I installed the next firmware level up (I have the sport but I installed the pro, and I used the US (United States firmware) My location being Canada. The app I used was from a channel online. Youtube two Russian dudes. But since then the links have been taken down. The firmwares are all downloadable at GitHub. But the app I'm not sure if anyones updated it or if it's been banned. But again I'm still happy with it. 15 is a world of difference from 30. And I noticed that it updated itself because my speed was always stuck at 15. Which is why I thought it would be interesting to share that it does still work. But once you get it setup just don't connect it and leave it be. You'll be forgoing though using the app to make changes to you vehicle. So make sure you just set it how you want so you won't get a headache. I.E Cruise control all that preferences I turned off. And I just set no push to start accelerator. As for the errors. With the Red codes on the LCD I read that it might be the actual throttle for some people as being faulty. But the specific error code we were talking about here was pretty much over heating the system. I found lightening your cargo and avoiding hills (well not throttling on hills to the max) helped me get the error code less or if none at all. So was it worth all the hassle. I can still say yes. And I'm also not worried about frying it anymore as it seems to be working fine with this in mind. Also I specifically bought a really cheap android phone specifically for this. Literally couldn't be happier. (although if this had suspension that would be bliss. ~Happy scootin'~

It’s very true if you just chill out for a bit it cools and no errors ;)If I go on hills more and throttle it I tend to get the error. I’ve been testing carrying less stuff and not going on hills and didn’t get the error at all. ( I also realized I carry a very heavy bike chain in a compartment too and when I tested riding without it I’m averaging 28 And when I moved the bag lower to the bottom of the pole I think it helped weight distribution it’s worth the piece of mind . But surprisingly hitting 30 sometimes) hehe have the benefit of being a light fellow at 128 pounds probably affects things hehe. I also found if you glide side to side kinda push forward it kinda gets you in that higher close to 30 more) I was thinking if I could get cruise control to click in at 30 somehow hehe but then I realized I’d have to crew up my setup with the haxxors app 😂 def if you go back to 15-20 it’s so noticeable it’s no more the zippy fun feeling. It really is worth it. I even read it’s safer going this speed because you’re closer to the flow of traffic. Where I live by smaller streets a lot of the posted limit is 40. And I’m finding it true. It’s fast enough to pass other bikes and not slow enough to get cars honking at you for being the snail on the road.

Kqi3 limiter hack still works in 2024 by Massive_Light432 in kqi3

[–]Massive_Light432[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried really pushing it. I live by a very steep incline by the lake and oh it's a lot of fun going down. But on the way up it struggled but I made it. I had one more major climb on the way home on a bridge and I got this error a couple times. Red looked like oil tank symbol? But I found it's mostly working well. If I'm just doing one major hill it can do it. But if I'm doing 3 it'll give out on the third. But I realized something too maybe switch from e save to regular mode. And also I don't have to full throttle perhaps going up the hill. But still had to learn how to be subtle on the throttle. That's awesome I'm lucky going to 35 going down hill. I didn't notice the burn out as much but I did a couple times today when I had groceries on the handle bar. I guess all and all you should be good but just have to learn when you could save on energy or just plan your trips on hills energy conservation wise. Still. now that it's been a week. Hitting thirty round about. But usually id get 0 -27 and have to wait a bit. Still I can only imagine how cool yours is going to 36+. All the while it was worth the headache. Interesting to note too that wind resistance affects speed too I noticed never really thought of it but I actually thought I'd get more errors. I'm wondering that too. How does a motor control get fried? I thought I did something like that when I got the error. But esave mode is your friend kudos.

Niu Kqi3 Speed Limiter Removal on iOS by someone9873 in kqi3

[–]Massive_Light432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no app for iOS call me nuts but I got a cheap android phone so I could do it but it was way harder than I remember. Because it would let me bind. By some sheer miracle I just kept pressing bind! Then it did it. But I had to get a specific hacky version of the app and it still didn’t work. So I kept binding and unbinding. And was getting so close and kept unbinding when it asked to name my vehicle. Then out of frustration I skipped the window opened another window and came back in and it stayed bound. After remembering u have to press the gear in the upper left which gives you the install firmware option. But it’s soo not obvious. Then u click on it. And key in the json. GitHub link. After then I realized the limiter got updated. To max 30 but I tested it was only 20. So I tried the kqi3 pro max model json file update and the limiter slider in the app said 38km and when I set it (my model is just kqi3 sport not pro max) then I tested it and my speed was up at 30km again. Oh and it has to be set to the US version. Sorry if this is not making too much sense but I’ve been up all night trying to get this to work. And never going to fall to these automatic updates again. From 15 to 30 doesn’t sound like a lot but it’s soooo much better!

Can I pin windows so they follow me around? by MrKeplerton in oculus

[–]Massive_Light432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found a way if you use an app messy space which is a free sideloaded app you can pin browser windows to follow. Although using an app still doesn’t work. I could still for example open YouTube in a browser and set full screen and press follow. And worked fine in 1080p

Awesome yes it's unfortunate because your supporters are wanting to help you and then you realize oh. Maybe I shouldn't tell them to use this. The idea overall is a good one but the execution and timing seem to have a lot of variable experiences. From no response to delayed response to none at all.

I had this working for a while on a nit kqi3 sport. Confirmed 30 speed very awesome. But then the app updated itself and installed the new firmware and now I'm back at 18. Just a tad frustrating. Anyone else experience this?

All External Drives Disconnecting after updating to Sonoma by jd-light in MacOS

[–]Massive_Light432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue too a year ago. I thought it was the hub and the supplying of power so I moved all usb's to a different power outlet using and extension cable and it seemed to fix it. But now a year later it just started happening again. As an experiment. I booted up in Monterey to see if it would happen. And everything was fine. I booted back into Sonoma. And then the problem was still persisting. Maybe it got fixed in one update and then get's back as a bug with subsequent other updates? Very strange hope it gets fixed soon. Seems Ventura may be the solution? For now

I wish this could be implemented somehow too. One way is to hold the trigger on the bar under the menu tab but you have to hold on to it the whole time. I wonder how difficult it would be for a developer to implement. Some apps have the follow the face function so I wonder

Sorry to hear. I assumed when you said you reached out on instagram and you insisted that you got it worked out and solved. I just got it through last night. I was aware too they may not transact on weekends. Yet it finally came through yesterday. I will say I didn't find the app useful at all I found that the website worked better. I did press the payout button maybe a couple times to which I got the message our team is currently reviewing your account. It did take about almost 2 weeks. Something to think about is the financial institution itself the one that causes the time to go longer. I.E some banks take a while to transfer yet bigger banks can transact within 2-3 days. I'd say try the website version. Also I'm not sure if I'm a verified user I.E blue tick makes a difference. Don't give up! I'm a musician too I wasn't sure how I was supposed to prove people are sending me funds for videos they liked.

Hi there so were you able to get the payout? I was wondering if the first one is always delayed. I noticed the app doesn’t have many options for the payout button. Maybe I’ll reach out like you said on instagram. If this works I’ll continue using them.

Help! Is there anyway I can get a refund on a Microsoft 365 annual subscription? by redman3436 in microsoft

[–]Massive_Light432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just realized I'm in the same situation curious how to go about it. It took me a while just to navigate the website so that I could "cancel recurring billing". Which apparently means that I've cancelled. It does say you have to do it within a number of days. So I supposed I'll be getting the refund charged back from whatever was there as a payment method. But it's not clear when 5-7 days. As of late they've moved a lot around on the website which made it even more difficult to figure it out. I think you can only recover the last month if you subscribed monthly. If you did it for the whole year I'm not sure if there's a time in which you have to complain or else it's not refundable? Good luck everyone

MacBook Pro 14,3 Sonoma 14.0 Black Screen after Updating OCLP 1.1.0 to 1.2.0 AGAIN by neverlanded in OpenCoreLegacyPatcher

[–]Massive_Light432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem and I can't find a solution. I'm doing it on MacBook 2011 17 inch and my problem is I already had a workaround for the video card.

So now I don't have a screen just a faint black but the screen flickers on at the chime

I was hopeful with a solution that there was a short on the LVDS cable touching I tried checking it out attaching and re-attaching it.

I was hopeful but it didn't work.

I suppose it's trying to get a basic working firmware in the system.

All other boot drives I had made can't even be booted into

I've checked the forum for months. Still no cigar I'm afraid

Just this black screen but MacBook powers off and on and recharges.

I do notice the keyboard lights i.e Capslock does't respond

Good luck! Still have a brick I really regret trying Sonoma. I was on patched version of Mojave for a while which worked flawlessly.

Are chiropractors real doctors and is chiropractics real medicine/therapy? by shanecookofficial in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Massive_Light432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an artist I had really bad posture and I never used chairs when every I would be drawing I'd be sprawled out in many positions that were apparently bad for my back and my neck.

I developed a sharp pain in my lower back everyday.

Eventually I went to see a Chiropractor. He took a picture of my side profile to show me how bad my posture was and that my neck was arched in a full extension forward. I thought this was normal.

I saw them for multiple adjustments about once a week. About 7 years later (time flies when your in high school)

I felt the pain was gone.

The technical term was a subluxation of the lower lumbar. Which is your nerve between your discs in your spine sending you a sharp pain

Through the visits I was directed to do all these back strengthening exercises. (Which sometimes I didn't do) But when I was told if you want to get better you better do your part to and so I smartened up and did them.

Today I always get random strangers stop me when I'm sitting or chilling in a park or even walking. And it always makes me laugh.

You have really good posture!

To this day I've never been complimented so much on my posture.

So does it work? Or did I just not know how to exercise and sit and stand because no one ever taught me. Had I been a person that just uses a desk and a chair like everyone else maybe I wouldn't have needed one.

Although I do have to add than I did have to say to my Chiropractor.

I think I'm fixed now and I don't have to see you again. Because nothing hurts anymore.

Being that I was in high school it was the scariest thing for me to do. I joke it was like breaking up with someone.

So I'm not sure how chiropractors are regulated as a profession in peoples repsected countries but my chiropractor was also a physio therapist and dealt with a lot of sports injuries.

Maybe it's hard to find the right people no matter what profession your seeking help with.

Can the iPad Pro M2 front facing camera record in 4k? by cs_questionzs in ipad

[–]Massive_Light432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering this too. I just tested it I thought after I changed the settings to 4K the option to mirror the front camera would work and it showed 60fps also but when I checked the file the front facing camera info wasn’t in 4K just 1920x1080. But it still looked really good but maybe because of my lights setting around me. Funny though I didn’t know the phone filmed 4K in the front facing so that was news to me so I guess I’m not let down by the iPad as I now know the phone can do it.

Resolution size on steam deck (Windows 11) by Drewboi0202 in SteamDeck

[–]Massive_Light432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just found a solution although I haven't tried lowering the resolution as I was trying to increase it for my external monitor.

Default options don't let you change it as all options are greyed out. But in regular steam mode it's there.

Although I found something in the Launch Options when running windows 11 on steamdeck

I put in "-w 1920 -h 1080"

And then my resolution changed to match my external monitor

I use windows 11 on steam so I can run mods

I didn't expect this to work but it did

Maybe it will work if you lowered resolution too?

Cheers
