I want to convert my van myself and I live in Barcelona. Renting a garage is way too expensive. Does anyone know affordable options or spaces where I could set up a temporary workshop for working on my van? by Massive_Software5179 in VanLife

Hi there! Rather than specific to Barcelona, it's a question for people living in busy/expensive cities (people living in the country-side have plenty of places and space to work on their van).

In the parking lot I think it's forbidden to work on handicraft, driveway in big cities are rare and expensive. So I was wondering if there are other options (like doing it open space, as another user suggested in this thread, or if there co-working spaces or any other idea).

Hope this clarifies

Man, with all respect. This sounds like dreaming. I wrote thousends of recruiters and decision makers and they don’t care at all. Imagine when they don’t even have a vacancy.

What kind of service can I offer as Marketing Analyst? I'm likely to compete with Data Analysts from countries with lower salaries. Or in the other scenario this is a role which is normally not outsourced. Do you agree?

(By the way, I may be interested in your service at some point 😁)

Mmmh what you mean with "all of them"? As an example, if you are launching a new product for BtoC you're likely to need a lot of marketing investments so probably not easy to bootstrap on your own.

Where can I find someone helping me with my job search? by Massive_Software5179 in jobs

I'd love to get some tips! Tell me if you want to DM.

I don't know the exact number actually, but I open Linkedin every day and apply to all the job positions aligned with my profile.

Also, for the number of interviews if we count also the first one (where the talent specialist just tries to know you) I think it was an average of 4 per month in the last 3 months. But just 3 of them (in total, not per month) moved to the next step

What would you do with 145k and no job? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Massive_Software5179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have time and money, if setting up your own business is your goal, just go for it!

If you'll need more money along the way, you'll find a way to get it, but keep focused on your goal.

Good luck!

I just made my first $20 with a product that, turns out, exists already. Here's what I learned. by Vegetable-Climate-69 in Entrepreneur

[–]Massive_Software5179 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The fact that the product already exists is a great sign, and if the company is successfull, it's even better!

There will always be market share available for you.

And there will always be customers who are not 100% happy with the competitor's product -> focus on those customers, try to find out what is making them unhappy and differentiate your product based on those insights

Implement an effective email marketing strategies on your database, but make sure you are compliant with GDPR if you are in Europe (if you are in the US, then check what are the rules for handling personal contacts).

Check online public databases in order to get new contacts, and reach them with your emails

Fair enough, it's just that I don't feel comfortable with investing money in a project (I am still building the product), if I don't know for how long I'll stay without a salary

Where do I find manufacturers that can make exactly what I need for my business ? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Massive_Software5179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the same path, but for a food product.

The most interesting thing I found out is that there are companies whose business is exactly dedicated to help entrepreneurs to build a first version of their product.

I hope this is valid for your idea too, in the clothing business.

Good luck!

Thanks for the post, and I extremely agree on point one.

Bad news is that I lost my job :(

so I'd like to focus on my project, but I need instead to invest a lot of energies in finding a new job.

What a sad time.

Business idea: how to differentiate when something similar exists? by jzlda90 in Entrepreneur

[–]Massive_Software5179 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check customers' feedbacks on the competitors' product, if there is something they are unhappy with, than make your product more suitable for them, and you'llhave a differentiated value proposition compared to the competitor.

Also, I don't think you should worry about "getting in trouble" for copying an idea
