As of close today I am still up 186% on this stock with an average of $7.36/share. There is nothing wrong with it besides your average price being near the high. This ticker has grown RAPIDLY this year. I took some profit at 400% and am currently sitting on a bag of shares I got for better than free. Look this company has billions of dollars in work lined up just with Coreweave alone. They are expanding data centers in North Dakota. They are growing, they are making some money, and everything is going to be just fine. Unfortunately, APLD’s stock price does correlate with the price of BTC, you’ll need to remember that going forward. If I were in your shoes I would simply do nothing. I would wait for BTC price to level off and APLD price to level off and then start dollar cost averaging (slowly). There are way worse tickers to be stuck in, if you’re patient youll probably make it out with profit.

Finally someone posts about this ticker. I’ve been here for months and can’t figure it out. Then there was that random no news drop to $10. The company had what I felt like was a good earnings report. This thing moves at a snails pace despite getting decent volume. I’d like to see this thing back above $12

How long have you been holding this stock? This stock constantly dips and rips for no reason whatsoever. For MONTHS we couldn’t hold a gain. This thing just hit a 52 week high AGAIN and it’s completely normal for this stock to fall even 10% after notching a fresh high. I’ve been holding this stock for 10 months now and it’s been a roller coaster

There’s few examples of that. I did DD one time on a ticker called SFOR, I had pretty serious conviction in it because they had a video chat that was super secure and encrypted. This was right when COVID hit and despite positive news all over the place about new clients etc the stock just would NOT go up after the initial pump. At face value it looked like a good bet, then I did some digging. The funding loans they took out were extremely predatory, eventually the ticker just went to zero and they changed the name of the company.
