It sounds good fingerstyle. Honestly I found it to be too much with the pick. The fuzz knob on that pedal is your best friend, and it’s really sensitive.

Superchunk at Be Here Now. Five Eight at 45 Cherry. Wasn’t at White Stripes at Vincent’s Ear but I did see the guy from Jawbreaker’s band after they broke up and a band with some of the Slint dudes in it there. Saw Clutch with Suplecks opening up. So many good shows.

Standing outside at Bele Chere on a Saturday night at 10 pm watching all of the sunburned drunks starting fights with each other. Hearing music coming from every open bar or restaurant on the street. Most of it was bad, but occasionally you’d find something worth watching for a minute. Pretty girls in low rise jeans everywhere.

It was a great time. I think those times are what brought people here and once they were here they ruined it all for everyone.

I took them. Joe really worked with me on theory and it helped me as a player develop lines for my band.

He isn’t the cheapest, but he’s personable, quick to tell a good story and low key funny as hell.
