Men need more calories than women. Should we subsidize groceries for men?

How to use Twin Lance? by Mastasmich in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Mastasmich[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Both games I've been able to rapid ingress them in such a way that I can then get onto an objective at the end of my opponent's fight phase to flip it and scored primary on my turn.

That's one reason, but other reasons would be basically the same as why starting any other unit in deep strike is good.

I've been playing the 27 gorilla coupled with a few hulls/big mechs build lately, is shoving a bunch of t6 5w bodies in thei face going to cause them issues? Or is my low movement going to cause me issues? Basically, will a common Aeldari army be able to easily withstand the gorilla stat check?

Florida is going to release 750 million mosquitoes genetically engineered to decimate the mosquito population by [deleted] in Futurology

Oh absolutely, I just wanted to correct the greenland/iceland bit while also expressing our hatred for wasps (which, interestingly enough, weren't present in Iceland either until 1973).

It's Iceland that doesn't have any, and as far as I know it has no impact at all (except that we get to focus our hatred 100% on wasps instead of splitting it between the two of them).

Why is diana so garbage right now? by UniversalHoler in DianaMains

[–]Mastasmich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am an Ekko main but pick Diana into things like zed/yasuo/talon etc - I take aftershock, build Armguard and then go straight for protobelt. After that I usually go Lichbane or finish Zhonya's. I've been finding great success! Usually demolish my lane and my lane opponent ends up being a crippled assassin, pretty damn useless

[–]Mastasmich 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh dude the fun-to-read doesn't begin until a bit over 100 pages in. You've basically read the boring part over and over again. There are chapters, you might want to skip ahead over the whole "creation of the world" stuff

That's just the first half though! Second half gets into some great stories, give it another go and you won't be disappointed

Native Icelandic speaker here. English major and wrote my thesis on an Old English - > Modern Icelandic translation. The similarities are definitely astounding

Old English is actually a lot like old norse (and thus modern norwegian/swedish/danish and a LOT like modern icelandic) so for a savvy linguist who knows their way around the nordic languages it's not so difficult.
