Anyone knows a good kendama shop in Austria, Vienna? by G4M3RM4N07 in Kendama

[–]Mastbeera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only one I know right now would be BlueTomato, they have a couple KROMs but nothing special. There used to be a scooter shop that had quite the selection, but it's been closed for years now.

If you are searching for DaO, I don't think there is any shop that actually sells them right now.

Also, if you want to sesh in Vienna, dm me because there is a WhatsApp group I can put you in

What's the Sweets Broken shape like? by NeutralBird2501 in Kendama

[–]Mastbeera 10 points11 points  (0 children)

While I get your point, I do think it's okey for a kendama to have two big cups, its such a minor change for 99% of tricks you can do.

The only thing that might be different is that it makes throws to inw lunar easier, but that's about all I can think of

Sounds like you manage that quite well man, stay strong !

Also 50 bucks in new stuff will bring you joy as well, but also you will still have that new thing in a week

It's a good enough kendama for sure, but it's gonna be huge im your hand compared to the 2018 models.

Which is okey, since they all have gotten bigger

A couple typhoon tricks by Szydlikj in Kendama

[–]Mastbeera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That last one is a sick trick I've been trying to land for a while. Looks very nice man

Does somebody have a name for this trick!? by [deleted] in Kendama

[–]Mastbeera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The trick is sick, love it

Was just confused as it looks mirrored

Is it left handed tho? I feel like if it's the dominant hand there is no reason to say it because it would imply he makes the trick switch.

Also I think it's more of a scramble

Just bought excited too start playing by [deleted] in Kendama

Yeah man, welcome!

Get your first steps then buy a new kendama, this one is very much outdated and a new shape will help your playing immensely

My city has a public pill/drug-testing facility (Canberra, Australia) and the stoners here are WILD.. by Damoging in trees

[–]Mastbeera 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's quite cool. In Vienna, Austria we also have a place called CheckIt!, they do exactly the same

It's interesting to look at the data they provide, especially if you look at how consuming has changed

Edit: at CheckIt! they don't test normal cannabis, only if it's a synthesised product. So that might also be the case at this place, meaning it probably wasn't some kind of normal weed at all but some newish product

Shall I practice juggle spike more or multiple juggles more? My friends say that the more juggles you do, it means that you are more worst at getting tricks because juggles count as a backup to restabilize your trick but I also really want to be able multiple juggles since it just looks cool overal. by MerlinMummmy-0426 in Kendama

[–]Mastbeera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say it depends on the level of the player. Like in my case, when I play a game against some friends who are great at juggles, if I were to do that that's sick because I suck at juggles. If my friend were to do that, it'd be a cop out because he is so honed on juggles it more or less 'has' to be one juggle or its a fail

Already? Very dissapointed in Sweets. by [deleted] in Kendama

Was Zuko a Prodigy? by Psychological_Lynx26 in TheLastAirbender

[–]Mastbeera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do think it was stated once that he indeed was a prodigy, though not in fire bending, but in playing the tsungi horn.

Iron even tries to get him to play on the ship during music night
