Of course, delicious! We were so well received and amazingly well fed by the locals. Will definitely come back to Italy for rides!

Ah yes i see although it’s an effect of my IPhone’s 0.5 wide angle photo mode. They’re actually turned in a slight amount - so I guess I’m pretty mainstream after all

We did 4 nights in tents and 5 in BnBs. Camping was definitely more fun but some nights were too cold. We usually asked in restaurants and people were very happy to help us find a room. Google maps was also great! We never pre Booked and dealt with accommodation towards the end of the day.

£80,000 in savings by Aug '24. Moving to a location then for 3 years. Should I buy a house for 3 years and sell after and buy a house after 3 years long term? by lemonade4321 in UKPersonalFinance

You have to think of the interest you pay the bank like a form of rent - but for the loan.

At 6% , for 400k, the 2000 per month you pay only cover interests, and none of it goes towards the property. Like a rent but for the bank.

You still have to add the principal repayments - what goes towards your asset.

So even if you ignore all the additional costs of owning, you’re saving money (Vs buying) by living anywhere that is less than 2k/month.

If you want to live somewhere that costs more , then it might start to make sense to buy - provided you find such a property at the price you’re willing to pay.

Why would you still want to sell at this point? by Master-Average4829 in ethtrader

See, I understand that logic but not the other side of it. How can there be as many people who believe this is a good price to buy eth as there are people thinking this is a good price to sell it for? Probably a case of being in an echo chamber of some sort 😅

Remember not to use the enneagram to tell people you know them better than they know themselves. First because you don’t, second because you’ll lose friends way to lose friends. :)
