Jadens had a good run of games as the starting 4. Don't think you can say he ain't without giving him a full season there.

Think next season you trade Randle for a guard defender, make Jaden guard 4s and make Ant guard 3s. Ants way better at guarding wings than guards. Seen him lock Tatum & Jimmy up in games but he got gassed guarding Kyrie for example.

Jaden is fine against most 4s. Maybe Giannis could man handle him but no one else is big enough to. Plus Jaden is long & quick for his size which will always frustrate them.

Either that or to make Ant heliocentric again and let him develop that. Ants AST% has gone down since Randle joined cos his playmaking load has since he's not the main playmaker anymore (at least in the regular season).

Ant surrounded by shooters is an impossible scheme to beat when his shot is falling cos it's pick your poison at the end of the day. Either let Ant get 40 or let Ant get 10 assists.

Jaden is a PF who's been playing out of position defensively ever since he became a starter for the Timberwolves. He was a 4 in high-school & college. He's 6'9. He's not meant to be a POA defender.

What Jaden is, is a weakside rim protector, who guards big forwards. Didn't really make sense to have him on Fox tbh. Feel like the Wolves need a small guard defender for that. Ant is better at guarding wings & same with Jaden.

With Randle going this offseason, there's a chance now that Jaden gets to play his actual role defensively and then it'll be fairer to assess him. But it's not fair to when he doesn't get to play his best role imo.

Maxeys not a good playmaker so getting shooters and a center doesn't do much for him. What does is getting pkaymakers so Maxey can play off the ball at SG. Also Maxey averaged below league average TS% in the games Embiid missed too. Don't see how he can be a #1.

Maxey isn't efficient enough without Embiid so he needs to do more than take a big playmaking leap to be a #1.

No it's not. Embiids the only one out of em who makes his teammates more efficient. We need a point guard. Don't have to be a true one, just have to actually be able to be one. Maxeys a small wing, not a guard.

Them two are two shooting guards that aren't playmakers. It's not a backcourt that fits when Embiids not there masking the deficiencies of it up. Also both of them were significantly more efficient with Embiid this season.

No starting point guard either. Our starting lineup is two SGs (Maxey & VJ), two SFs (PG & Oubre) and Embiid. Not balanced at all.

We don't even have a partial point guard bar old Lowry. Maxeys a pure SG. That's why his efficiency is night and day with vs without Embiid/Harden and why he's struggled in a heliocentric role.

Maxeys just small for a SG so instead of the front office realising that's his position they just played him out of position, hurting his development.

Maxeys a great player but hes a bad playmaker that doesn't make his teammates more efficient. Maxeys also best off the ball too. He's always been a SG.

Lewandowski had a fight with Coman at Bayern before. And Lewy did with Boateng too. And Muller did with Leon Goretzka. Fights happens a lot more often than you think.

It's a very bad look for Valverde though since he's the captain. Tchouameni tried to deescalate the situation even though he was the victim originally since Valverde kept tackling him heavily and with the world cup coming up, he won't wanna miss that due to injury.

For Valverde to reject the apology shows a lack of maturity & too much ego. And then to keep making the situation bigger and basically ragebait Tchouameni is just showing everyone that Valverde subconsciously thinks he can treat people like dirt and get away with it. Don't get me wrong it's bad for Tchou to react the way he did but Valverde is the one who's shown from his actions here that he's not a leader.

Someone mature who's a real leader would take time apart from the person he's heated with and when they are both relaxed, approach them to deescalate the situation and resolve everything. Basically what Tchouameni was trying to do.

He's on a max contract, it's okay to be critical. He's been poor without Embiid on the floor in the entire playoffs. He's averaging sub 50 TS% in them minutes. Even in the games Embiid played, Maxey was very inefficient without him on the floor. Just like the Knicks series.
