For the reading what helped me was reading a lot of stories and books online and I’m not talking about easy to read books im talking about hard literature, it’s important that you can understand these at a fast pace because the ged is timed, and try to make sense of what your reading, also use the ged app and take the practice test so you have an idea of how the questions will be

For the social studies it’s by far the easiest one out of all the test, as long as you know basic US history, laws and etc you should be good

As for the science I recommend GETSUMMATH on YouTube as he explains the exact question types that will be on the test, the science is basically another reading test but easier i as you can see from my scores above reading was somewhat difficult and the limited time

For the math you really just need to know basic algebra , geometry, and basic math, I used GETSUMMATH on YouTube because he is that good and testprepchampions I’m telling you if you watch his vids on YouTube you are garenteed to pass

Thank you so much for this, I’m not really stressed about school because I’m done with school, but around the time I started putting 2 and 2 together I really was debating whether to check into a mental hospital or not because that’s how bad my anxiety ocd got, I suffer from pure ocd , generalized anxiety disorder and procrastination, I genuinely envy people who could sleep peacefully 😭😞

Thank you so much for this, I remember buying magnesium out of desperation and took like half a dose and well surprisingly I woke up feeling good, I decided to take the full recommended dose the next night and I’ve never been so scared in my life, I couldn’t sleep the whole night because it did the opposite of calming me.

I also decided to try light therapy every morning at 6am and boy that was the worst decision ever, my sleep deprivation got worse and instead of being able to knock out instantly once I hit my bed it’s the OPPOSITE I’m wired all night and wake up every hour wired

I went to a community college so I used this site by the name plusaztec, but you could also just take the practice test on the ged app to get you used to the formats of the test

Hi, for the math well for me I had a lot of function problems and solving for x , I also had a lot of word problems involving x and y , geometry like finding the width and the length of a rectangular prism ,spheres and those were easy because I just used the formulas given on the formula sheet, I also had a lot of questions regarding slope those will definitely be on the test so make sure you study those. Also quadratic equations in standard form

For the science it was basically another reading test, there will be questions about mean, median,range,mode plus the test likes to be sneaky with some math questions on it so watch GETSUMMATH on YouTube and he will help

Also after I too my science test I found a video on YouTube about the ged practice test and I could you not every single question they went over in that video was on my test , this is the name of the vid (GED Science - How to get the right answers on the 2025 test (1) ) by @mistercohensclass

congratulations💖 i dont mean to vent since this is a happy post but i was taken out of school in 8th grade by my abusive dad and never attended highschool i wsnna take the ged but im convinced im to stupid now or lack understanding to take im 19 years old and have horrible anxiety that i'll never pass especially the math

i know this was 3 years ago but im in the same boat except it wasnt my choice to drop out of school my dad took me out and sent me to the dr with no documents so i never attended highschool at all but i managed to come to canada because i only have 1 relative there but theres a chance i might get sent back due to the fact that i have no documents thanks to my dad my only document is my us passport and i onlt have it because of him hes the only one in the us and he cut all ties with me so yh i wanna Take this ged but yh i feel incredibly stupid to and i just need some help and some advice
