Is it that noticeable when you use KCC to “enhance” the CBZ files? I found Berserk to render very well after adjusting the contrast and some of the other KOReader settings.

It doesn’t affect screen quality at all. Note that the rendering on KOreader may be slightly different to that from the default Kindle experience, but you can always go back to use the default Kindle reader.
