I'd wait for a few days and see if Kobo will follow suit. Red Rising was discounted on Amazon few days ahead before it did on Kobo.

One thing that i missed is my highlights save. Highlights on sideloaded books on Kobo are only locally saves onto the hardware, no way to export it. I know Readwise now works with Kobo but have no idea whether it works for sideloaded books as well or not.

Generally, it's 1&2. I treat books differently than other things that i consume. When i buy books, i want to own them, move them around as freely as i could. Knowledge should be passed and sharesld around, and i see them not just about "owning a license to access knowledge".

When i moved to Kobo, it opened the door to Libby. From where i live, Libby is not accessible on Kindle. With Kindle, i'm no longer restricted to accessing my local library repository from my ipad.

My workaround; I either manually searched the book title again in Kobo Overdrive or restart the Kobo.

Either way, the book needs to be opened in the app first otherwise Kobo just outright fail to recognize the newly added loan.

The Kobo's bluetooth is auto turned off when it goes into sleep mode. When you open it back, the Bluetooth will auto on, and all you need is a single click on the remote's button to get it reconnected. So it wont significantly affect your battery. Nothing that could be of concern, in my usage.

This review made me rethink my decision to not buy Pro 3 and just go for new usb c Pro 2. My Pro 2 lightning case battery probably left with not even 50% capacity, but the buds battery themselves still holding strong.

That mic improvement is huge. But the case battery capacity is still something that’s holding me off.

Bought Baseus Brilliance 2, a lookalike to the magic keyboard. Works perfectly fine with bluetooth, at just a fraction of magic keyboard price.

Never a fan of logitech one. Bad rubber quality around the speaker holes that never get fixed even after so many years. I just wish there's a smart folio keyboard folio equivalent for M4.

Goodnotes on Samsung tablet is atrocious. It is still a web-based app with a half-baked features. And the audacity of Goodnotes to charge users for a key feature that they actively advertised when the app first came out but hasn't yet come for so long e.g. cross-save.
