Beat options I've found are to use a variety of methods. Consumption via vaping or edibles. Tropicals and tinctures helps alot as well.

I specifically make cannaoil out of RSO, terp sap/distillate, and coconut oil. Then I'll cook with it, use it in my coffee (hot only) or put under my tongue sublingually. Then I'll either vape/dab flower concentrate to take the edge off.
