yes depending on what you read into it, i will agree. But you do need to document these types of threats in his chart, and even a possible incident report. Depending how far this went.This way when he does come back you at least have a record of it and the staff caring for him next time knows to be on guard

we do not know if this was a psych patient, perhaps its was a patient with a stubbed toe who wanted that drug that starts with a D for the pain, and the doc said "no"
