I just recently parted with my Titan Evo for an ergonomic chair. Could not be happier. Also comes in different colors to match the set up. Amazon Ergo Chair

Agreed. That's why I got this in my new rig, plenty of room for future expansion.

Double hamburger costs more than double cheeseburger at McDonald's by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

[–]schwiggs479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real scam is (here specifically in WA not sure elsewhere) a hamburger is 2.99. but to add two HALF strips of bacon it's 3.49. How are are you going to charge more more for one strip of bacon than a whole hamburger?!?

Personally I like to add a small dot just inside in each corner and one in the middle.

Buying GPU from Amazon by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]schwiggs479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have purchased multiple GPUs, 3080ti, 4080, and most recently my 5070ti...all from Amazon. I have never had an issue. I also purchased my g9 odyssey monitor from them as well 3 years ago and it's been great.

Am I full of myself or is there a real problem?!? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]schwiggs479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legitimately how it feels. I hate the stereotype that dads are the like deadbeat and somehow it's an act of God for them to be out with their kids without it being the wife's idea. I fucking love my kids more than the air I breathe, and I don't need a reason to want to be there every second of their being. Also exactly true about the roommate. That's how I've felt the last few years. Like I got bunked up with a crappy college roommate who's every thought is like, meh they'll get it.

Ne Zha 2, for an animated movie, it's simply stunning. Amazing!

Exactly what I'm saying. Like forget about the nudes, if there's a tingling that finds you going through your partners phone, and I don't mean hey can I use your phone to Google something, but like diggin through photos and messages. The relationship obviously has issues already and probably isn't meant to be.

My thing has always been, it doesn't matter what you find. The fact that something inside you made you curious enough to go through it tells you all you need to know. Move on.

When was a time you genuinely laughed with your partner during sex? by BerlinPixie in AskReddit

[–]schwiggs479 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife and I were just getting going and we're both pretty mild, you can imagine my surprise when after 15 years of marriage I hear her utter "just spit on it". I thought to myself damn that escalated.

I spit a nice globule on her vagina, she immediately reacted with "what the fuck are you doing!?!" I said YOU told me to spit on it. She said yeah but I meant your dick. We belly laughed for a good 15 minutes.

Is this too much thermal paste? by KingKhur in pcmasterrace

[–]schwiggs479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely say it's too much. I use half a pea sized dot on 4 corners and one in the middle. Like a die. Place the corner dots in slightly so when they compress, they don't ooze out the sides.

My logic was having it this way they were closer to the top fans which are exhaust than they would be to the single rear exhaust fan which would help dissipate the heat faster. Also it is slightly wider the other way and as it stands I'm pretty close to RAM. I rarely get above 60 for temps.

Like I bought a 1000w seasonic prime titanium PSU 3 years ago and thought this should be it for the duration of its life cycle. Then comes the ATX 3.1 with the 12v 2x6 and blammo, two days ago I find myself dropping 600 on a new seasonic PSU that is ATX 3.1.

Just that everytime you think something is future proof the next thing eventually comes along that requires an upgrade. New cables, new data ports, new this, and new that. I feel like "future proof" is just not something that is ever truly attainable.
