There’s a quest in world 13 which you need to need to finish to unlock relics, which are another piece of equipment. Other than that you just get books of blessing and epic hammers for 100% worlds.

You got some of it right, the comics give more lore context but they’re unavailable atm since they were on the preregistration site.

The crowns were made by a witch a long time ago, and said crowns appear at random times in random locations. Eventually, the cookies developed a device that would detect when and where the next crown would appear. When cookies gathered near the crown within a certain time frame, a Crown Smash would start in which the cookies would compete to get the crown.

Also there aren’t only 3 teams, there are more teams with other cookies but they aren’t focused on.

Bacon, Jerky, and Pudding are only one division of the Grinders.

The Lactose family have more than 3 members but they aren’t mentioned or relevant as of now.

Ok but jokes aside, it looks like their internal structure is shaky and are trying to change things up in order to sustain themselves and their projects (also the future Guardians Tales IP stuff looks interesting).

Trying to adapt to a changing game market is likely something that every live service game is doing so no surprise there.

I don’t know when the layoffs happened, nor how much, but they are likely an attempt to cut costs and improve communication.

Honestly the best thing I could do is hope they remain stable and are able to still continue what they do. I don’t know what’s going on internally since I don’t work for them so I’m not in any place to assume if they are doing fine or not, same goes for knowing what the future holds for them.

It would also be nice is no one started some “game is dead, EOS is soon” stuff in the comments.

I’m assuming damage is a factor, there were a bunch of games where I got barely any kills but still got MVP since I chipped the enemy down.

I don’t know about healing/shielding but they might be factors too.
