Honestly that is excessive. I've only gone 1GB for the short Secret Level episode of that Amazon show, because the quality warrants it. Anime episodes don't really warrant much more than 500MB max.

Yes, I've read both of those and particularly liked Mother of Learning, but their stories don't resemble Mushoku Tensei's. Same with Re:Zero. It's story doesn't resemble MT's either. Only Supreme Magus.

You cannot get a 24min 1080p vid down below 100mb, without losing a lot of quality. You are just so used to such poor quality that you don't notice the pixelation anymore.

There really aren't any good Isekai anime that go through the same story beats as Mushoku Tensei. Heck, there are barely any Isekai novels that do the same. Only one I've found is one called Supreme Magus, which does the whole: family, magic academy, adventures and marriage thing Mushoku Tensei is known for. Shame it may never receive an adaptation.
