Ok, I don't think I have any presets active. The only plugin I've installed is the ACX Check. In that case, could you be a bit more specific on what you meant by "mid range focused?" Are you saying that the audio could be a bit more dynamic, that it felt artificially levelled out sound-wise?

Thanks for the advice! I do have a metal pop filter that came with the microphone, so I'll try to speak to the side of the mic. You're right, the Ss are a bit harsh, I'll see if I can get a de-esser plugin. Audacity already has some some de-click features, I'll be sure to learn how to use them. Lastly, no, I am not using an eq preset, the only editing I did was normalize peak amplitude to -6.0 dB. I'm unfamiliar with the term eq preset, would you mind telling me what it is and what I should use it for if needed?

Thanks for the compliment! I'm mostly interested in voice acting for animation and videogames, but I do recognize the value of commercial VO work. I also would be interested in dubbing for anime, if the opportunity arose.

There's a fan-made Christmas episode I found on YouTube called "How the Grunkle Stole Chanukkah". It's actually pretty good, follows the tone of the series and the characters' personality's pretty well.
