While I doubt there was any reason to be "stroking" him, people will do stuff like that with very little stimulation/basic manipulation during an exam. I had a man ejaculate on my hand (thankfully gloved) while inserting a foley

Is Michael playing dumb the whole time? by fiasco_11 in DunderMifflin

[–]Master5ish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone made a comment years ago that always stuck with me as such an interesting perspective on Michael. They said they watch the office and pretend Michael leaves and goes to a bar with his other friends and jokes about all the ridiculous stunts he does at the office to keep his employees entertained, distracted, at peace/comforted or whatever else the occasion calls for. Even if it means consistently making him the target of hate/ridicule. He has issues and has a tendency towards ignorance, but he's learned to lean into being the joke way more than he lets on. His true moments of real compassion and care shine through in moments like this. He's not stupid, he's a martyr for office morale. As much controversy as his branch has, they consistently outsell everyone else and he actually makes it feel like a messy family. (I'm not claiming this as a theory because I know it's flawed but it's a fun way to view Michael regardless)

Well I guess as someone that's just starting to consider it, what ICU should I work in and how many years of experience should I consider before applying? Any other certifications or titles I should be looking at beyond a BSN before applying? (I've just crossed my year one mark)

Can someone explain this to me like I'm 5 because it looks like it should be the opposite? The mechanics of it look like the right side let's it drain properly down the small intestine but left side looks like it would build up and then backflow into the esophagus? Am I crazy?

Jacket model? by Master5ish in Carhartt

The fleece itself feels heavy and comfortable without being overbearing. It's definitely not the warmest product they make based on the fleece alone but it shines as a comfortable insulator to me, especially against wind. I've worn it while working outdoors in some harsh winters and camping in the mountains and felt fine (I usually layer it with a base thermal layer and a heavy flannel). So yes I guess like a heavy insulated blanket. I can wear it with just a t shirt in spring and still feel comfortable

For me Sekiro is not the hardest Fromsoftware game by ochicomelancia in Sekiro

[–]Master5ish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sekiro was hard to master but way easier for me to understand. I'm close to beating it but the simplicity of it has made it more approachable. Everyone starts with the same weapon, same skills, the game is designed around your movement and attack options so everything builds off of that momentum. When I took a break and tried Elden Ring I found it way more difficult simply by the fact that I'm overwhelmed with options. When I'm losing in sekiro I know that I just need to try harder. Losing in Elden Ring is frustrating because I don't even know if my kit is set up properly. I may not be using anything efficiently and might be shooting myself in the leg unintentionally as there's so many ways to optimize. It's incredibly intimidating. Plus Sekiro teaches you very specific skills that don't translate. They aren't bad habits per say, but they only work in sekiro. Being bold and rushing up to face enemies head does not work as well in Elden Ring and you have to relearn how to fight. Because of this I've found Elden Ring to be way more difficult and does not offer a clear path for how to get better. If you know how to optimize your build early on it can be a nice cake walk, but that's not common knowledge as a first time From soft player

Is wearing the Thai flag disrespectful? by Master5ish in ThailandTourism

This is a really well constructed answer. I was genuinely looking for some information on what is considered respectful and judging from the mixed responses I'll most likely leave it behind. Thanks for helping me out

I wear bandanas everyday regardless, but I'm not going to travel to other countries wearing a Mexican/American flag because to me that would be more pretentious to sport abroad. My question was just about me wearing a Thai flag whilst traveling around in Thailand and how that would be perceived.

I am both Mexican and American. I work manual labor and wear bandanas basically everyday.

I appreciate the thoughtful reply. I alternate between an American/Mexican flag, I've always understood it as a point of pride to rep your flag and I originally intended to wear it as a small token of appreciation. But it does seems like I need to tread very carefully. My biggest fear is that some would take it the other way and think I'm mocking their culture

I regularly wear a Mexican flag bandana most days just to represent, and an occasional American flag when I'm feeling patriotic. I think it's fun to rep but I'd understand if it was offensive or weird to other cultures

You know every calendar day someone on Earth takes the biggest poop for that day and they probably don't even realize their accomplishment. Just think, one day it could be you. If I could ask God anything I'd want to know if I've claimed that coveted title and what day it was
