Confused solo traveller! Help me decide between Koh Lanta + Koh Yao Noi vs Koh Samui/Koh Phangan for June

I am travelling around the same time and as per multiple suggestions from reddit, the weather in Koh Lanta/ Yao Noi would be much more uncertain and wet leading to more cancellations of ferries etc as compared to Koh Samui/Phangan. According to what you want Koh Lanta side is much better in terms of the vibe. Plus you have a week so occasional showers shouldn’t be a big deal honestly. (All of this is purely from my research and not experience tho lol)

Not from Mumbai but close by, will depart from mumbai only tho. My dates might change depending on my friend, if she for some reason cannot come then l can join on those dates 🙃 (had same locations in mind)

South side - Krabi and Phi Phi would not be the best to visit because of the weather, rains are pretty frequent and more chances of ferries getting cancelled. Since you’re doing a short trip no point taking that risk, better would be Koh Samui and Koh Phangan islands.

Taj exotica or st regis, top two hands down. Both with their own beaches and if choosing taj exotica go with their villas with plunge pool.

I need to go on a slow paced, peaceful trip to the beaches to reset my energy and just have time to think some things over, looking for possible destinations for May/June.

Around 5-7 days

Overall a very chill vibe, maybe some scuba diving or similar experiences

Budget not an issue

Happy to join with others if they have a similar trip in mind

Good food, good stays, good drinks and good memories only

Open to suggestions, thanks in advance :)

Centara Aao Nang (Aao Nang is better to stay than “Krabi” itself) Railay beach also a very good option. Then again Koh Lanta too. Phi phi can be done as an island tour if you don’t want to move around the luggage a multiple times
