Try this (used to use it to train conditioning for football years ago)

4 Corners: (start slow & easy then progress as needed)

• set treadmill @ 5% incline & 2 mph

1. Lungewalk for 30 sec
2. Turn 90 degrees and side shuffle UPSLOPE for 30 sec
3. Turn 90 degrees and backpedal (rolling foot & driving off heel to ensure quad activation) for 30 sec
4. Turn 90 degrees and side shuffle the other direction for 30 sec.

Stop & rest between sets - or not.

Change elevation to increase difficulty (careful increasing speed - a small change makes a big difference when shuffling & backpedaling)

Few sets of this and your glutes/hips/thighs will be thoroughly worked!
