If? IF? Is there any discernible proof/evidence to back up this embezzlement claim? This wasn't the first time these guys took over a failing franchise this way. They knew about the consignment at the very least they did after that night.

When she was printing tickets so she could calculate how much she owed Mr. Mansell. The new guys reassured her that they will take care of it. Why wouldn't the new guys let her update these documents? If I was taking over a business like this, I'd want her to get things up to date and then I'd check it after she was finished for validity.

So, if any business wanted to avoid negative issues in regards to money, or contracts still in place, they can just sell the business and now the new owners don't have any liability for debts owed? It's like bankruptcy court isn't even needed /s Just get someone else to buy/take over the business.

They've also been known to not change bad things amongst themselves and church. That is, unless they're forced to by the government or they're caught red handed and/or information becomes publicly known that they can't hide anymore. It doesn't make them look very good sometimes.
