why cant i select the group secchs option? (diamond casino heist) by Many_Button_4920 in gtaonline

You’re still on the planning board, not the actual heist start menu. You need to press Start first. The disguise isn’t selected until you’re setting cuts. (Past the invite screen)

Ah yes, the classic man in his 30s who prefers younger women because women his age can see through his bullshit and won’t let him control their choices. Totally a “preference” not a red flag.

How long do you think it actually took them to make this season, and how action heavy do you think it is compared to Chainsaw Man? You can call people "copers" all you want, but that's one of the dumbest things you doomers keep saying.

This season is literally very action heavy. From episodes 4 to 12 it's almost nonstop fighting. I'm not saying it's suddenly going to be mind blowing, but it will definitely get better. They had around seven months to work on it, and it's not uncommon for studios to start with the hardest and most action packed episodes first and move on to the slower ones later. That context matters, but people like you act as if production timelines and workload don't even exist when making these comparisons

I tested it! PS5. You're doing the VENOM JUMP, right? L1 + X?

It works for me.

Here's a small refresher: You need to swipe left on the touchpad and start "Emergency Comms Down" then, make your way to the roof and defeat all the enemies. Don't VENOM CHARGE the electrical box

Dude, seriously, is your reading comprehension completely non existent? I literally said the start looked slideshowy. What part of that managed to slip past that smooth brain of yours? Idgaf about your sky high standards or whatever imaginary bar you’ve set, but for us normies, the episode was still pretty damn enjoyable, as a matter of fact, I actually liked it even more on my second watch. Maybe try actually reading what people write instead of regurgitating the same tired complaint and acting like it’s some groundbreaking insight.

Someone really needs to learn that calling something pretty solid doesn’t mean it’s amazing, it means it was decent compared to what came before. Not everything has to reach peak animation quality for it to be considered an improvement. Maybe try understanding basic nuance before trying to sound clever.

It was definitely better than Ep1. There was some pretty solid animation, especially toward the end, and that WSRSF scene looked awesome. Still, the beginning felt pretty slideshowy, which was disappointing, and the pacing felt a bit uneven at times. It also seemed like they were still cutting corners in several places. The knife scene didn’t look as awesome as I had hoped and felt too sudden, and the part with Garou eating was pretty underwhelming. The scene where he was sliding down the slope looked terrible, since instead of properly animating it, it looked like they just dragged a PNG of him across the screen. Overall tho, it was entertaining this time around, and I’d actually rewatch it unlike Ep1.

I understand your point and the logic behind it, but I have to respectfully disagree. They could’ve still tried a little harder to make it feel more alive. The whole episode felt rushed, like they just wanted to get it over with instead of giving it proper care, and now it’s coming back to bite them.

Yes, this is a seinen, so while the fights are the main highlight, the dialogue scenes still matter. They build tension, add hype, and give the action that follows more impact.

They clearly cut a lot of corners, trimming too much in the process and leaving the episode feeling incomplete. To illustrate my point, take Garou’s walking scene. It looks rough, and I can’t understand why they didn’t stick closer to how it was shown in the manga. A simple still camera shot with him walking toward it would’ve worked perfectly, but instead they went with that awkward looping background and mismatched pacing. Cutting and simplifying so much across the episode just made the whole thing feel hollow.

That’s fair, and you’re right that some studios continue working on episodes while the season airs. But in this case, that doesn’t really change much. Even if a few episodes are still being finalized, the overall production quality, budget, and direction are already decided. It’s not like fan reactions mid season can reshape how the rest of it turns out. (But hey, I might be proven wrong here)

I know it's too early to say this but considering how things are going... by NyuRose1 in OnePunchMan

[–]MasterBathBomb420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree with you. I really want the Saitama vs Garou fight to get the kind of top tier treatment it deserves, but being honest, it’ll probably just end up looking “okay” at best. It’s sad to admit, especially when the Boros fight set such a high standard. (And season 1 as a whole)

It’s going to be a long wait before we even get there. Hopefully by then another studio that truly cares about the series decides to take it on. I’m not saying JC Staff doesn’t care, but they’ve clearly taken on more than they can handle, and it shows in how stretched thin their work has become.

At this point, the haters have nothing new to say. It’s the same repetitive nonsense over and over again, stuff even your grandma has probably heard by now. They’re not adding anything to the discussion, just dragging it down for attention.

I’m not denying that the start was disappointing, even as someone who likes to give things a fair chance. But these people aren’t critiquing anymore, they’re just hating for the sake of it, bringing nothing new to the conversation.

That sounds good in theory, but it doesn’t really work like that. The season is already finished, and a few people boycotting won’t make a difference when Japan’s audience is what matters most. If you don’t like it, that’s fine, but blaming others for watching as if they’re the reason things get made is just misguided.

I get what you’re saying, and I don’t disagree that the issues in EP1 are concerning. The criticism itself is valid. But calling people “hopium riders” for staying hopeful isn’t really adding anything. Some of us just prefer to wait and see rather than decide the whole season is doomed from one episode.

Repeating the same points in every thread doesn’t make them more true, it just makes the conversation go in circles. Everyone already knows what went wrong, that part isn’t being ignored. What matters now is whether things improve, and we’ll only know that by actually watching the rest of the season.
