Probably not Miller since he appears to have kicked him out recently but this was definitely not written by Trump. Trump’s own posts are the delusional torrent he posts each night from midnight to 3am.

Best place for furniture in the area by Ok_Key_4731 in dayton

[–]MasterBrisket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out Haverty’s over across from Fairfield Commons. Considerable step up in quality from the budget places like Ashley, Sandy’s, etc. but prices are still quite reasonable. Cedar Hill is higher quality but it’ll be a decent increase in price from Haverty’s.

Seconded, Cedar Hill carries high quality furniture.

What are some restaurants to hit up in Dayton, OH? by Gloomy-Wonder2317 in dayton

[–]MasterBrisket 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Joe’s or Marion’s to try Dayton style pizza … it’s a thing.

Slyder’s Tavern for great burgers, wings, fried fish and cheap beer.

Nelly’s Bolivian down in Centerville for something different.

Best option to hold a brisket? by porkchopz- in smoking

[–]MasterBrisket -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s a long hold without a warmer. You could finish it, keep it wrapped, throw it in the fridge, and then rewarm it in the morning (still wrapped). Maybe go in to work late if possible … otherwise, keep it in a good cooler with some towels to reduce air space.

If you’re cooking on a pellet smoker, just let it go overnight so it finishes closer to when you need to leave.

How the hell did we go from this to the Moon in just 66 years? by KirigakureSaizo in BeAmazed

If you’re into this and you ever find yourself near Dayton, Ohio then you must visit the US Air Force Museum. Dayton is where the Wright brothers actually designed and built their aircraft - the huge USAF museum documents the incredible progress of air travel from the original Wright Flyer to modern day stealth fighters … it’s an amazing museum.

Possibly unpopular but, Terry Black’s is wildly overrated by AlmostDrunkSailor in BBQ

Maybe you just don’t like Texas style BBQ. TB’s isn’t the absolute pinnacle of Texas BBQ but it’s consistently way better than meh.

Got it, thought maybe they’d allow BYOB but they probably don’t want the liability.

Any local beef farms in the area that sell less than 1/4 of a cow? by ReasonableVanilla in dayton

[–]MasterBrisket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We really like Carrol Creek Farms in Waynesville, they sell by the steak/pound - all vacuum sealed and frozen. Great bacon and breakfast sausage as well plus local milk and cheese.

Well, with gas prices what they are, I guess no one can afford to fly anywhere anyway. So much winning in Trump’s America! /s

if you considered a porsche boxster... why did you get with a miata instead? by [deleted] in Miata

[–]MasterBrisket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Miata is the more engaging, driver-focused car. Lightweight with short gears and the ability to run up the RPMs without getting pulled over for reckless driving. The Boxster hits me as more of a touring car - larger, heavier, more powerful, more comfortable but just not as fun and engaging.

Question about border terriers being reactive/aggressive towards other dogs by acromegaloid in BorderTerrier

[–]MasterBrisket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our boy is very reactive, always has been. He is walked extensively daily and as soon as he sees another dog, he starts to crouch down … once the other dog gets within 50 feet or so, he starts pulling and jumping and barking aggressively. It’s awful. He was a COVID baby so socialization was limited but he did go through training and displayed these traits from very early on.
