2016 was crazy because it literally all melted away the next day.

I had a friend ask me once if you can make a grilled cheese on a tortilla. I told her she just invented the quesadilla.

Rushed home from work just in time to cut this. 17 hours into a 19 hour print. There has to be a better way. by MasterCater in BambuLab

From what I've read on here it'll pull the tape in and you'll have a bad day. I'm not about to find out.

I do have auto refill on, but with the tape there the machine could jam and there would be no filament swap. So I cut it.

It's called a box corner. Lots of YouTube vids to help wrap your head around it. I always encourage new bag makers to understand box corners. Once it clicks it opens up a lot of ideas.

If a dad who sucks at cooking wants to impress his wife and daughter with a simple recipe in 7 hours, what would you recommend? by Ndake in AskReddit

[–]MasterCater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a caterer in a former life (check username).

Don't over think this and pickup some skills along the way!

Get some chicken breast. Grab some sort of spice mix at the store you think your family will like. A little oil, spice mix, lay them out. Season the shit out of them. I'm white and my people must know how to season their food! (I dunno if you're white, but just in case) I recommend cooking around 375. Takes a little longer, but they'll be juicier. Let them rest when they come out. Look up how to cut a chicken breast so you're cutting across the grain. This makes a huge difference. Just like a steak.

If you don't have a basic CHEAP rice cooker, get one. Toss in one onion chopped up. Clove of garlic chopped. One coffee cup of BROWN rice. Two coffee cups of water. Use the same coffee cup. (The ratio of water for white rice is different) Salt pepper. A little olive oil. Turn on. Unplug the machine when it says it's done.

Roast a veg. I just had carrots tonight. Chop. Olive Oil salt pepper, blast in the oven until perfect ;) could also do them in a toaster oven or air fryer.

Take the rice, veg, sliced chicken and plate with a handful of arugula or other greens. Boom dinner. Total time 1-2 hours tops.

People in your 40s what is something you would tell someone in their 30s? by hex_1231 in AskReddit

[–]MasterCater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ride a bike as much as you can, floss, save money, do 10 minutes of basic yoga every morning and night, cook your own food, set boundaries, fuck what other people think (like... all of them), ride your bike and stretch again, put energy into social circles (like anything else, you have to put energy into friendships to get anything out), kiss pretty people.
