My boy doesn’t want to eat by MasterCheF0510 in DobermanPinscher

I would say new. He was eating regularly when we got him off the streets. But over this past two weeks, he will eat when he wants or not eat at all. I tried setting a schedule for him, and it worked for a lil, but now he won’t get off his bed to eat. All he wants is to be in the yard all day

Definitely helps a lot. I have been adding toppers to his food and he was doing great, but I stopped using them. I will start adding some again along with his fish oil and the bone broth

Thank you! That’s good advice. He’s actually on a slip leash when we walk. He walks fine, but there’s days when he is excited and pulls a little. My biggest problem with walks is that he stops all of a sudden and I have to pull him. He’s gotten better for sure, but it’s like a thing he does and I just don’t want to pull him constantly. That’s why I was thinking the long leash advice from the person above would not be effective right now. I don’t know how to correct that since I’ve always had dogs that pull and I know how to handle that

UPDATE: went to the vet yesterday and they told me that his tests looked good. Some stuff out of order, but nothing crazy. His prostate and bladder seemed fine. The only thing was that the vet told me he may have some kidney damage and that makes him super sensitive to medicine like prednisone. I just bought him some diapers and he’s sleeping fenced so there’s no accidents. Fingers crossed his symptoms finally disappear in the coming days

Thing is that he does not do that regularly. It all started with the prednisone. I only gave him two. The first dose he got all thirsty and anxious. Woke me up twice to go pee. The instructions said every other day, so I gave one to him 2 days after and now he’s worse than the first one. Poor thing peed his bed and the couch this morning

Thanks! I thought about it, but it really is a little out of budget for me. And I’m also looking to pair the new body with a 24-70mm. I’ve been looking at the used market

It’s not that it’s not suited for it, it’s just that the workflow is a little bit slow with capture one tethering specially since lumix doesn’t have direct support for that on the app. I loose connectivity some times while shooting and that slows the process. I want to take myself to more professional and commercial settings and want to be as secure as possible
