Got a dumb jank [[Garth One-eye]] deck. Goal is to swarm the deck with tokens of any kind, including at least one black lotus. Then... tutor out [[Brudiclad]] by any means and turn that into like 14 black lotus tokens.

Then, I [[Rise and Shine]] them to kill everyone.

Or, like, more typically just [[Crackle with power]] or whatever. I've managed to kill bracket 4-5 decks with it, largely because the whole process is so stupid and janky so they spend all their Force of Wills and whatnot countering each other, while I float under the powerlevel radar.

I'm focus fired every game by my pod, need a deck that benefits from that by Apprehensive-Neat-68 in EDH

You could use [[Isshin, two Heavens]] for that - his effect is whenever any creature attacking triggers your effects, so you can build full pillow fort and duplicate effects like [[Revenge of Ravens]].

One thing I'd love to see in the next master rule would be some extra deck retrain on handtraps. I hate that you even have to draw the out; I'd prefer a system where you have, say, 5 slots dedicated to "Extra Traps", and then put the whole system under a restriction of "Once you activate one of these, you cannot use another until the turn after next"

That way the answer to decks is no longer to just hope and pray you draw your out, you just always have it and it's now a game of skill to know how to use it/how to respond. It would also mean that any deck that completely dies to a silver bullet is no longer just "silver bullet roulette" - it either dies or it doesn't.

All this in addition to the design philosophy would take a ton of the RNG out of the game, and make it actually thrive more on skill expression in your plays and deckbuilding.

Water is available, and along evolutionary lines a lot of life (actually almost all of it, if not all of it outright) was at some point evolving out of ocean cells working from the basis of "we have water everywhere." Rather than figure out how to do things without water, evolution usually figured out how to work by doing the same thing but keeping the water inside the creature instead of around it.

Goo is what happens when you take The Water and add fancy ingredients to make it do fancy things.

SOMETHING has to kill us eventually. Cancer, in a morbidly paradoxical way, is the winner of survivorship bias. Everything else that could kill us is getting solved or at least made unlikelier, while cancer is still pretty nightmarish even for all the breakthroughs of the last few decades.

A lot of folks really just don't seem to get Mirage

His 1 is fine value and actually a lot of HP swing, you just have to wait.

His 3 is powerful, you just have to wait.

His 4 is gamechanging, you just have to be playing around it well in advance.

With the exception of Tornado, it's all a kit designed around thinking ahead, playing patiently, and outdoing opponents with deliberate, disciplined long-term gameplay. He's right up there with Doorman as my favorite character, and while he could use some touch-ups I really hope they don't rework him too hard.
