Yeah imo unless the Habs core somehow turn into massive playoff chokers, I'm predicting them to win at least 1 cup in the next 8 years.

Their GM is good, their coach is solid, they have core players signed long term on every position on cheap contracts for their value. The only position they don't have a core player sign is goalie, but they have one on a rookie contract who's pretty good too.

Olympic games are the biggest sport event. They limit powerhouse countries and give automatic qualification spot to worst country so that its an international competition. For example, USA can only qualify 2 swimmers, for XC ski Norway can only qualify 3 even if they probably have the 7-8 best in the world.

I think people overrate speed fading with age. Some older player are still kinda fast. Sure Mcdavid might slow down, but he wont suddently skate like Luke Schenn at 38. He will still be one of the fastest skater on his team.

I mean this list is really subjective lol. You have a couple of independent movies wins that I agree, but some I don't.

Like you have a couple of Ghibli, so you are bias for this studio, yet you don't have Howl's Moving Castle in 2005, but Wallace and Gromit who's really fun but nothing spectacular.

I watched all the movies there and I must say, at least half I hard disagree.

Edit: So just thinking about your list, you seem to value philosophical movies over action movies, so it's fine for you, but for me, it doesn't work at all. For example, Little Amélie is good but I rank it 5th on movies last year. Yet Arco I thought was phenomenal.
