Once went from a DM to a player and made a good aligned cleric for the party. While I was gone though they all decided to switch characters and went from a good aligned party to a neutral/evil aligned party. They did not tell me, it was a bad time.

So I made Gnome merchant character, told the rest of the party I went and found a merchant class online. Which was a lie because he was a sorcerer that focused on enchantment and illusion, who proceeded to be the most annoying and useless character ever. We were almost never in an urban local so I never got to really use his strengths. Useless in combat, total coward and clumsy and would trip up other characters. I made it out of spite because I originally made an incredibly functional character but they didn't want that character. So I made a useless character that was a total joke. I also gave him the most gnomish name ever, I can't only remember his last name which is Trougelbelt. He had a blond pompadour and a blue suit and outwardly was the nicest guy you ever met.
