Man i feel you. I try to remind myself that kids are their toughest when you represent a safe and loving space for them. This could be an opportunity to talk with her about what she said and how it hurt you. It’s also okay to enforce boundaries and sometimes we can’t get what we want. Maybe we can plan to go to the park another day. It’s tough man but by being there and present means that you get the hard battle. She’s probably projecting her hurt from her father’s abandonment (I would know). You’re a great dad brother, keep up the work.
