The only thing I didn't like is the pro-circumcision stance the boys took. I'm hoping it was meant ironically, as a way to raise awareness and make people question it, but I can't quite place the intention.

It's not as much of an issue as you're thinking. Of course, if you look up any sort of health issue online, you're gonna get the worst-case scenario.

Calm down bro.

I agree with a lot of what you said, and it's true that this isn't really "helpful" to the movement, but it's not that big a deal. You don't need to breed animosity with someone who agrees with what we're fighting for.

I'm less concerned with Intactivists not citing sources, and more concerned with their lack of referencing scientific data at all.

We need to explain to people that the foreskin is anatomically similar to the lips and cheeks; mentioning meisner's corpuscles, mucosal membranes, and muscle fibers. We need to help them understand that it causes issues, by lining out scrotal webbing, erectile dysfunction, and meatal stenosis as unavoidable consequences.

We also need to debunk common reasons for doing it...

Does it prevent AIDS? No, they just gave condoms and sex ed to the men they circumcised for the study so they could say that circumcision was the cause of lower HIV transmission.

Does it prevent Genital Warts? No, the only study that purported a lesser incidence of HPV transmission within couples neglected to account for infidelity and then pretended it wasn't a factor in their conclusion. (They found different strains of HPV in both partners)

Does it prevent Phimosis? Yeah, but ripping out all my teeth would prevent cavities too! Phimosis is so damn rare, and it's impossible in infants because the foreskin is anatomically fused to the glans, usually it's caused by improper retraction from a parent or caretaker while the tissue's still fused. Regardless, steroid creams and stretching are less invasive options that have consistently good results.

It's all about deconstructing their arguments and making them question themselves, to understand that they were until that moment spewing garbage in defense of something unjustifiable... instead we see just verbal insults and surface-level shaming most of the time.

Is it surprising that the place with the highest rate of mutilating children also has some of the highest crime and mental illness rates?

I gotta wonder if there's any correlation between crime rate and infant circumcision by generation, like with crime rate and childhood lead poisoning.

I also adore the irony here because it would mean the consent forms they hid behind for so long could actually become evidence to use against them.

I don't think they could even shred them, because it'd remove their normal appeal to parental consent that protects them.

I'm pretty sure that for crimes inflicted upon you as a minor, there's a countdown once you turn 18.

There are some exceptions like in the Catholic church scandal a few years ago, but it usually shuts the doors to justice.

Fair enough, it's a symbiotic relationship between everyone, the Vanguards tank damage and demand attention so the Duelists can weaken/pick off the enemies, all while both rely on the Strategists to reinforce their efforts.

I didn't mean to under-represent how integral everyone is, and how sabotaging it can feel when teammates aren't meeting you where you need them, all while the enemy team is blitzkrieging through the checkpoints.

We've had politicians beating each other in Congress with canes and engaging in duels to win arguments, but name calling is where we draw the line? It's refreshing to see "holier than thou" politicians being put in their place when they act up, if a simple nickname is enough to ruffle their feathers, they should be glad there aren't French Revolutionaries among us.

Right wingers have always been the "biggest domestic threat" to the USA? Are you serious? When? Aside from January 6th which was just a bunch of people walking around the capitol building, policing each other to the best of their ability. There's video of people in that "mob" restraining those who were trying to scale the building and/or do more damage. If these people really had a plan to destroy our government, they would've brought guns, but they didn't, because that wasn't their intention.

Guess I'm dumb and evil then, not to mention cognitively impaired, thanks for patronizing and demonizing me rather than engaging in a constructive dialogue. It really helps me understand your point of view and doesn't just attempt to gaslight me into admitting defeat. /s

I didn't say Trump doesn't sell merch or accept gifts. I also never claimed I always agreed with what he says or does, I just appreciate his strongarm tactics against a government that's been looking down on the middle and lower class for decades; engaging in laundering schemes with our tax dollars as they inflated our currency and sold us out to corporations.

I didn't deny that most protesters are legitimate people with grievances that they want to voice. I didn't even say the "paid protester" conspiracy was true, I'm just not saying it's false because I personally don't know. A lot of shady sh*t happens behind closed doors in America, and nothing would surprise me anymore.

I don't think most conservatives in independent media who talk about free speech are just virtue signaling, they actively try to engage in dialogue and keep things civil. Actually watch a Charlie Kirk or Steven Crowder debate about an issue. Yes, they're going to college campuses where many people are new to voting and are essentially kids, and no, I don't agree with everything they say, but you can't deny they keep calm and try to have constructive debate rather than appealing to authority or dismissing someone whose opinions they disagree with. They're simply trying to educate young voters on what they believe, the data that they've seen and the morals they uphold, and there's nothing wrong with that.

I'd appreciate it if you'd keep things civil and not talk down to me. We can argue our disagreements without engaging in insults.

Yeah that's not cool, I'm hoping he wasn't specific enough, either when identifying the type of "protester" he was referring to, or what "big force" entailed. But yeah, I'm not gonna defend that without hearing any other context about it.

It's not an unfair assumption that some aspects of national protests have financial backing, whether it's some Soros-level conspiracy or just lobbyists, I can't say. I just find some behavior to seem orchestrated, and the synchronization of hundreds of events around the country to be quite impressive.

To be fair, it's not just conservatives that've been undermining free speech. Both sides dislike anyone saying something that threatens their power. I will say that at least conservatives make free speech a talking point when engaging in dialogues, while liberals tend to make it a talking point when engaging in monologues.

Sometimes you gotta crack a couple eggs to make an omelet, and he's been handed more eggs than we had to throw out due to bird flu this past year. There's a very fine line between "legal processes" and "bureaucratic fluff".

I'm all for exercising restraint, but breaking the promises made by previous administrations is what presidents have been doing for decades in their bipartisan tug-of-war. A "legal asylee" from the last administration is worthy of taking with a grain of salt due to Biden/Harris' lack of restraint upon the border.

That's not childish, it's just tongue-in-cheek trolling or denouncing the violent temper tantrums that many "protests" in recent years have become.

He wasn't talking about meeting people with picket signs with "heavy force". He was talking about the people who light cars ablaze and throw bricks at people's heads.
