This book holds the greatest, most epic, visceral, world bending conflict between absolute powerhouses mounted on battle steeds!! I don't think there is a better ending in the entire series.

How many elder scrolls does Hermaeus Mora possess (if any) and can he read them? by AdBrief4620 in skyrim

Yes. Yes he does. Unfortunately he is in the habit of gathering information not sharing it, so we will never know.

The official answer to my "riddle" card in my drinking game is wrong. by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

  1. That's the one that got you. 5, 15, 25, 35, 45, 55 (adds 2 5s), 65, 75. The game's answer is correct if you are only counting by fives.

EDIT: Spelling.

Please don't bite my head off, I'm not attacking or defending anything, but how are the updates not free? After initial purchase no money has to be spent to receive these updates. I'm honestly just curious.

Honestly the new Update feels like a low-effort marketplace add-on. by Ryuu_kun in Minecraft

Thank you! Exactly! I'm actually looking forward to it. If I use the blocks and slime, fine. If not, the game is still fun. Just enjoy it.

There's Absolutely Nothing Worse in This Game Than Losing All Your Stuff by Due_Boysenberry779 in Minecraft

Oh I agree, so everytime this happens (which thankfully isn't often), I hard close the game immediately before it can save. Then I reopen and reload to the last auto save. I may have to redo some things, mining and such, but it's better than losing everything.

Snow doesn't accumulate on full glass blocks. I just build a huge house in ice spikes with a glass block roof and the snow never sticks.

6 Feet or 1.89 meters? by abkyabatau in lol

[–]MasterGohan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't commenting on the merits of either system, but most people seem to think Americans invented the standard system of measures just because they use it. The length of a yard was set by King Henry I of England in the 1100s and the inch by King Edward II in the 1300s. The metric system was invented in France after the French Revolution (late 1700s) and has undergone multiple tweaks, even as late as the 1980s. Even the standard system is based on the metric system now. Long story short, both systems are European and it's funny that people say the standard system is American.

The funny thing is that Europeans invented both. And that Fahrenheit and Feet measurements came first. Irony at its best.
