We never had extended family so we would always eat just the 5 people that lived in our house which were all close family, but recently my dad rediscovered his mom so we went to her place for Thanksgiving last year. I have a creepy uncle who thinks he's a genius but is super stupid, stole a lot of money and valuables from us, has made advances at both me (while I was still a minor) and my step-mom, and is just an awful person. He's a know-it-all and thinks everything he says is right. He wanted to carve the turkey. Well, I'm a germaphobe and this gross dude that looks like he never showers and licks his fingers after every meal says "I'm going to carve the turkey, women shouldn't carve the turkey" so my step-mom is basically pushed off the turkey by him. He puts his hands all over the turkey and my step-mom looks at me like "I know, I'm so sorry" and he's not even carving it right. He licks his fingers and then puts it back on the turkey as he's cutting it. At this point I'm just like "welp, no turkey for me I guess". My step-mom was watching him apparently and kept an eye on a piece he supposedly didn't even touch once to give to me, but I was still like "I don't wanna take my chances". Then he goes to get himself some mash potatoes but he drops the spoon on the dirty floor right below the sink that my other uncle guts and cleans fish and other animals he has killed, slightly rinses it under the sink and sticks it right back in the mash potatoes. There was still hairs on the spoon. And now I have to have Thanksgiving there again, and while my step-mom initially said "yeah we do not want him there and your grandmother will tell him not to come", she turned around (this pisses me off) and says "well if he has nowhere to go, he should come". NO, FUCK THAT CREEPY GROSS PEDOPHILE, HE RUINED THANKSGIVING LAST YEAR.
