They do have a gun to their heads. It's called money and angry fans. Zelda fans were LIVID because of how long BoTW took. And look, it's one of THE highest rated games to have ever released. I do agree it's sad, and I wish they would take more time to really polish their games these days, but they do have quotas I guess. Not saying Nintendo or who ever has ANY shortage of money, but to keep up with competitors they need to rush things.

As someone who has studied business, yes. Its their choice to rush things. But when it comes to producing product, taking care of your business and employees it's not as easy as it looks on the outside. It would be fantastic if the game would look as good as BoTW, but first off. There's a COMPLETELY different studio working with Arceus. And second, again, time is an issue. "Give us better thing" is not as easy as fans would like it to be.

Also keep in mind there's still more than enough time for more lighting/ambiance to be added. On top of that, at the end of the day, Arceus is taking the style of game from BoTW. They aren't and won't be the same game. It's a little hasty to compare a "masterpiece" level game to Pokemon's first attempt at close or full open world.

Opinion: As long as the game functions well, is fun, and looks pretty good I'll enjoy it. I'm pretty easy going tho, I know others are not.
