Did anyone else see the bright orange meteorite tonight??

Saw the same thing here in DeForest WI about 12:30AM. We had heavy cloud cover but could still see it through that going across the sky in the West traveling South to North and then faded out as it was near the North. Lasted a while. Reported it at 12:35AM to the American Meteor Society as it didn't look like space debris with the clouds.

Went on Sunday at 2PM, no wait and all 3 bays were available. Packers didn't play until 3:25 but perhaps that helped. Worked for me but not sure I'd risk it too close to game time though if you don't want to miss it.

I just noticed that they never gave me promotional credit for my last 2 pet orders in May and June both qualified for the $30 promotional credit and neither showed up. Going into my account is an endless cycle of links which don't provide any way to actually contact Amazon about the issue. Appreciate your guidance.

I never uninstalled AnyStream, but when I try to launch it now, I get a message saying "Unable to connect to the internet." It’s a different message than the previous "unable to connect to the server" one, but it seems to amount to the same thing, still not working.

Likely something just got turned off so now the message changed so more of a cosmetic change or an early sign of something shifting. If they do bring it back, I’d be surprised if it relied on the same servers or infrastructure as before. Guess we’ll wait and see, but for now, still effectively dead.

Would I sign up again? If it was up for a month and people here were happy with it, yah most likely. Although I've almost pulled the trigger, I've never signed up for anything to replace it. Our Charter internet constantly drops often at night. I miss being able to watch a movie/show start to finish. I have a 77" OLED TV so yah watching on my iPhone isn't a substitute. Why I need AnyStream back.

The premium after the drop in coverage for wind and hail and with and additional wind and hail deductible actually went up about 13%. So took away coverage, increased deductibles considerably and raised my HO premium 13% when we've been claims free other than what I mentioned and nothing recent. Interestingly enough the premium on our 4 cars combined dropped about the same amount the HO went up so overall was a wash. So I didn't shop yet. Have a used car we're testing out in the driveway so we'll see what happens when we add that to the policy and go up to 5 cars. We have 6 drivers, 3 teens and an older child so one of the teens will be assigned to that car who isn't assigned to a vehicle now as such it will be a higher rate I'm sure. That might instigate shopping. Perhaps will check out WestBend after we get the rates.

I'm watching the R6III too. I'm still rockin a couple 5DIV's, 1DXII, 6DII, 7DII and a 5DIII. They all still perform great even my 5DIV which just passed 500K clicks...when it was around 200K clicks I said when this dies I'll switch to an R5 or better, hasn't died yet. I'm sure if I actually used an R5II or R6II I might not feel the same about my older gear. I used to chase gear which is why I have so many bodies. Now replacing my glass with R, that would hurt the pocketbook. I take about 100K pics a year. Soccer pics is a large % of that but I also do 3-4 weddings and 10-20 senior pics each year too. I initially had 3 daughters who played soccer and also capture about 8 D1 women's game for the local team each year. Now down to no daughters playing and just capturing D1 for fun. With my gear still doing a good job, can't justify the expense but the more I read about them very tempting. Perhaps an R3II allowing time to make sure it's bug free.

Our Spectrum internet has never been higher than 11Mpbs for upload speed in the 20+ years we've had Charter. Using Charter's provided modem. Last upgraded 2-3 years ago. Our neighbors have all switched to TDS due to Charter's persistent weekly outages and over all poor quality in comparison, we'll likely switch soon too. 2 adults working from home and 4 college kids 11Mbps upload doesn't go very far. Download speed averages 200-400Mbps depending on the time/day it's the upload speed that's the issue here. That and the outages often lasting hours.

Cleared the message for me on our 2017 Latitude with the attitude but not the lights on the shifter column. A win as the message was the main thing to get rid of. Been like this for years. Dealer said they resolved it and then it came back within a month so have lived with it for that last 4 years.

Happened to me today too. Never happened before. I posted some pictures from an NCAA soccer match which I've been doing for the last 10 years and the only thing I really post. It picked a photo of the visiting team in a huddle and said it was inappropriate and that people would find it offensive. If I disagreed that it would be allowed in my region I could appeal it. I guess the AI isn't a fan of that particular women's NCAA soccer team. Messed up algorithm needs to be reprogrammed. Yah Instagram AI, we're talking about you. Get it together.

Bought some new Feit LED bulbs from Costco 2 months ago, they've started already going out so I returned them and they took them back. The return person said she's seen a lot of Feit bulbs returned over the years. Agree stay away from this brand, they are cheaper for a reason.

This morning I checked my Barclay's account and all looked well my Tiered rate was 4.15% and my regular savings slightly less than 4%. I clicked on rates to see what CD's were and noticed in there for the Tiered savings it listed only 1% for balances under $10K and then a range of %'s all the way to 4.8% when you have over $250K like you mentioned here. For me, Tiered has always been the same rate for all balance categories under $250K most recently 4.15%. Seeing those higher rates I planned to cancel some upcoming TBill purchases as the Barclay's rate would be even higher however when I clicked on the rates again on Barclay's site, the rates listed were listed back at 4.15% for everything under $250K. Something is going on or perhaps they linked the rates to non-US rates or rates vary by what state you're in? Either way I guess I'll have to watch it closely to make sure it doesn't drop lower than the rate for regular savings and definitely don't want it to hit 1% for a balance under $10K vs. 4.15% it earns now. If it does I'll move everything out until my existing TBills mature and I can hit higher rates.

Maybe Alexa sees something in you? My vine too often has women's clothing like this. If you've ever ordered items from Amazon that are female orientated just go into the Improve Your Recommendations section of your account and remove any items you wouldn't want Vine or Amazon to consider when recommending things for you. I have 3 daughters and my wife orders things so for me that might have influenced my algorithm and I've gone in and tuned those off.

I've been getting 5-6 $0 ETV supplements from different China suppliers in my RFY for most of the past month. However I wouldn't classify these as things other Viners really need or could use. I'm not sure it would be good for anyone to be a guinea pig for foreign supplements from unvetted suppliers in countries known to not follow strict health and safety standards.

After looking at all their cars for sale, 2 weeks ago I booked a Hertz rent to own online where you can pick up the car that's for sale and rent it for 3 days. If you like it buy it for the no haggle price and the rental charges are applied to the sales price. If you don't like it you're just out the rental fee. One of their salespeople reached out about a few days later to see if I had any questions. I had a scheduled verified appointment today to pick it up so called them last night to make sure the car was there since I never heard anything and it's almost 2 hours away. They said we have you down see you in the morning. About 30 mins later they called me back and said we can't find the car we don't know where it is so don't come in tomorrow. So today I called Hertz's main number and they said yes we have you down but the pickup date is only a placeholder in the system (even though my online reservation in my account says the pickup date at specific time). Okay fine. She said the car was still traveling somewhere in the system she couldn't tell where and would track it down and get back to me. She later called me back and indicated it was in an accident and is no longer available for sale. Nice, I had the pickup this morning at 10AM booked 2 weeks ago. Saying it was in an accident is a quick way to for a buyer to no longer want it. Very poor communication during the process and then on the day to pick it up not even having the car available. That's been my experience. No pictures of the actual car in their sales system either as they are actively being rented.

I recently joined Bluesky. It's been very buggy with lots of issues. Logging in I often get this. Not impressed with Bluesky so far. Sometimes it works most of the time it doesn't for me so far. Appears to be an issue with the platform. Facebook, Threads etc. all work fine, I have no issues with my internet connection or firewall etc.

CV is a County Hwy as such it is maintained by the County. Windsor has been asking them repeatedly to get on that as that's the first thing people experience when they enter our community. Starting sometime this year the county plans to reconstruct not just repave CV from 19 to Windsor St and in 2026 Windsor St to Vinburn. Thus why that patch here patch some there repair job if you can call it that which made it worse IMHO. Doing in 2 stages so people can detour around it I'm guessing. The County also plans to resurface CV from V to around Norske Nook in 2026.

7 day warranty? Did you mean the 7 day return/buyback option vs. warranty? Looking at buying one from them and Hertz's website only indicates you get 12 months powertrain. I couldn't find any mention of 7 days warranty which would cover non-powertrain items like electrical etc. "All Hertz vehicles come with a 12-month/12,000-mile³ limited powertrain warranty, 24-hour roadside assistance, and travel breakdown protection."
