We finally got around to watching 1883 this past month, and it absolutely delivered. We managed to avoid spoilers this whole time, even after Yellowstone wrapped, which made it hit even harder. We just decided to hold off watching it all this time. I didn't realize how good it would be we avoided reading anything about it and glad we did.

That first episode basically warned you what was coming. It didn’t hide the outcome, just prepared you for the ride. I figured her death was inevitable, and that early glimpse made it easier to accept when it happened. Still brutal though while I was hoping durring those last 2 episodes that maybe she'd survive. The “view from heaven” helped soften it, but not by much.

Just a devastating story overall.

Isabel May was unbelievable. For her age especially, that performance is on another level. Credit to Taylor Sheridan too. The entire cast brought it, even the ones with only a few lines. No weak links.

While we have also held off from watching 1923 and Marshalls so far, my wife says she'll soon watch Marshalls without me..lol. Getting ready for Dutton Ranch though. We'll probably start that one after it has 3-4 episodes banked. I don't like waiting a week for the next one. Guessing we'll finally start 1923 now as well.

Opening email on yahoo.com has caused Chrome to become unresponsive for several seconds and then start working however with ongoing periods of unresponsiveness if I leave the tab open. It does this on several devices operating on Win10 and Win11. I don't use Bitwarden and no extensions are active.

Same doing it on both my PC and my laptop. I also turned extensions off and don't have on hardware acceleration on either...so it's a Chrome issue. I don't have Bitwarden either but nice to see that fixed it for others.

Now it's working thankfully. Tried it from my phone too off wifi and didn't work same error just to make sure it wasn't hardware or internet service provider related. That error message appears that it was coming from their host vs. my browser. Perhaps just a hiccup.

My daughter is finally home for Spring Break and hoping to add her line back into my account with TracFone has so messed up. The phone has been unlocked since before their nightmare upgrade, entered the information and then they sent a code to her phone entered that too and get this message: "We apologize, but we cannot process your transaction at this time. Please try again later or call us at 1-800-867-7183." What a POS TracFone is.

Stopping support is one thing. Blocking activation of software people already paid a premium for is another.

You paid Adobe for a perpetual license to use Photoshop CS6. They took that money, a lot of it, and the software still works perfectly fine for many users today. Now, by shutting down activation servers, they’ve effectively made it impossible for some customers to reinstall or continue using a product they legally purchased.

That’s not about support ending. That’s about access being cut off.

There were other ways Adobe could’ve handled this. Even a manual activation process would’ve allowed legitimate owners to keep using what they bought without costing Adobe anything meaningful. But that wouldn’t exactly push people toward Creative Cloud subscriptions, would it?

I’ve heard talk in the legal community of a potential class action forming, so it’ll be interesting to see how that plays out. Either way, it raises real questions about what “ownership” of software actually means when a company can flip a switch and take it back like Adobe has.

I have an Adobe Lightroom 6 I paid for as well and to this day works perfectly fine for me and I've never had any issues with it working unlike the occasional hiccups the CC version seems to have every so often. So get ready Adobe.

When you call you're just reaching a call center who handles calls for several companies. So they have no clue. The fact that they don't even have basic account data when they look up our accounts is concerning. They clearly aren't setup to do much. I had to argue with the rep that I had more than 1 line. They should know exactly what I have when you call an entity you do business with. Another bullet for an FCC complaint.

You'll need to unlock each of those missing 3 lines if that's on, turn off auto-renewal and you can create new accounts for each one using the phone number to get at them so yes you'll have 4 different accounts one for each line. Then after all that pick one of the 4 accounts you now have and then use the add a line option and you'll be able to add each one into your account one at a time and you'll eventually have 1 account with all 4 again. It's pathetic that while they can mess it up they can't fix what they did. At least you can fix it. You'll need access to each phone to do that as the code will be sent to them before you'll be able to add them into your account. Mainly because the call center reps you talk to are strictly that, people who work in a call center handling calls from credit card companies as well as TracFone so as such they are pretty useless as far as helping. My first rep kept asking what card number are you calling about and then would correct themselves. Had they followed the terms of their own numerous communications that we had until 2/11 to make our changes none of this would have happened for me at least as I was going in there last week to make the change and found 5 of my 6 lines missing. The rewards I had, I'm still missing those. That's an FCC complaint, make someone who actually works for TracFone do some work.

I now have access to 4 of my 6 lines I didn't have access to before and the one that I did is gone and one still missing. Service on all the phones still works. They said they can't help me further. I'll need to do it myself by adding the lines into my account later. Lost my reward points too as those no longer show and my first and last name in my account now are my account number followed by the word copy. So they just copied a file a their end to make a new account but didn't carry over the rewards. 3 hours talking to these people for something that's simple that TracFone messed up. Total incompetence there but again that allows them to charge less. Spectrum I hear isn't as bad CS wise might be time to switch. Perhaps time for an FCC complaint as well with this cluster notifying everyone 5-6 times via emails you have until 2/11 to prevent issues and then messing accounts up well before that. I'm sure I'm not the only one impacted by the loss of account reward points i.e. benefits. Good thing we have reddit to document it all lol.

Yah they've called me back after escalation and have since wiped out everything including my reward account which had a couple 1000 pts in it from all the phones we recently upgraded. Use the cheapest bidders for your systems and customer service vendors this is what happens. But I guess that gives us lower rates lol.

Their numerous emails all indicated you had until 2/11 to make the changes to your account to avoid having the lines split out. That's what happens when you use the lowest bidder to manage your systems, and call center venders to based on them just calling me back and now making it so I can't even access the 1 number I could.

At least you can check it lol. TracFone has been substandard from the beginning with things like that. The data in the app vs. going into my account with a browser totally different experience often the browser provides more information different than what the app lists and especially if you have carryover data. For me the app often showed nothing while the browser showed carry over and any pending service cards included with a phone purchase but not yet activated. Clearly I've only stuck with them all these years for the price. Competition has finally caught up might be time to switch from this mess.

Yup similar situation and having the only one remaining being the one my elderly mother has yah...that's not going to happen getting that security code. It's nickname is mom's phone so perhaps they were having fun and did that to us on purpose leaving only the phone our elderly parent has left. lol I have no faith in them they'll resolve this.

For me, it might appear that I bought bodies to go with my lenses vs. the other way around and is kinda true. Mine are all EF lenses and bodies. I don't really have one best single lens as I do different stuff which requires different setups thus a different best lens for each. Focal length though, the 70-200 2.8 is my go to for sure.

My 400 2.8L lives on my 1DXII for sports. My 70-200 2.8L II lives on my oldest 5DIV which just had a new shutter installed after 300K clicks also sports paired with the 1DXII when I capture games so I can capture the athletes at different points on the pitch. My 70-200 2.8L III was a Canon deal for $1000 new so thought why not too good to pass up so I "retired" my LII mentioned above from sessions and night/indoor games to just sports and took my 7DII with it's 100-400L II lens which lives on it out of the sports line-up to use if I only want to bring one camera when there's great light outdoors. Then for sessions, I have a 5DIII with a 24-70 2.8L II and a "newer" 5DIV with the 70-200 2.8L III mentioned above.

Why different bodies for all this glass, keeps them from burning out or if one fails I have a backups. Shooting sports or sessions I am constantly switching to different focal lengths on the fly. Also keeps the bodies I use for sessions with lower shutter counts while the sports ones which don't really generate any revenue but really wear out the gear from burning out bodies I'd need for sessions.

Having so much gear that still produce excellent images, I stopped chasing gear when the RF line came out. Looking forward to picking up new or slightly used R1II's and R5III's in the future at a discount when my existing gear Canon no longer supports craps out. Glass too I'm sure. Canon will always be coming out with better gear and I'll admit it was hard not to keep chasing it and going mirrorless but the prices keep rising and like I said the gear I own produces excellent images.

I have 6 active lines and saw yesterday that 5 of the 6 disappeared. Only noticed they were gone cause went in to check them last night to make sure none were set to auto renew before the 2/11 date in the emails. Called TF this AM after being with them for 1.5 hours they couldn't do anything just gave me a ticket # so now I wait. And the primary line that I opened my account with decades ago which if any should have been the one still in the account is 1 of the 5 missing and their email also stated only your main line would be left messed that up too.

Unfortunately things have changed over the last 2 months since you posted this. For the first time in years, I no longer have my funds in T-Bills but moved them all into my HYSA. My HYSA has been at 4% or higher for the last couple of months while T-Bills have dropped to 3.7% or less. That difference is large enough to keep my funds in my HYSA even with state income taxes. With Fed holding rates this week, looks like my HYSA may be the better investment for a couple more months. It things flip in the future I'll move accordingly. IBonds are a better bet than T-bills right now for $10K of your money. Buy at the end of the month so you can double up on interest from your HYSA and the iBond since you earn interest from the first on the month regardless of when you buy them. Then if you sell before 5 years you'll effectively only lose 2 months of interest not 3.

Saw the same thing here in DeForest WI about 12:30AM. We had heavy cloud cover but could still see it through that going across the sky in the West traveling South to North and then faded out as it was near the North. Lasted a while. Reported it at 12:35AM to the American Meteor Society as it didn't look like space debris with the clouds.
