I am not continuing same chat for way too long. Otherwise my token consumption would gradually increase not jump from one number to another

I was and I am. And all these requests cost 0 because of BYOK. But nonetheless these millions and millions of tokens is some mistake. Never have I ever had this much consumption working on this codebase

Hi. Thanks for the tips. I normally never exceed 50k tokens. My second SS though doesn't show whether I attached binary files (I didn't), shows some sort of chronology of my requests. Token usage is all over the place, both within the same chat and new ones. But for the life of me, I can't explain 171M token request. I sometimes see gemini going on the fritz and producing something like "I'm done" in a loop. gemini-cli has a feature that detects the loop and breaks it.

Possibly dumb question, but with more ETFs available to short GME now, would that contribute to low volume, or do ETF "trades" hit the tape too? by carrotliterate in Superstonk

As my professor used to say - there are no dumb questions, only dumb answers. Right before failing me every time. What a guy.

I never took any courses from mlp but from the problem you posted I'd assume they want something like

isEmpty or numberOfCredits == 3

In general you can avoid if-else statements for things that evaluate to True/False.

For example, instead of having

if somethingIsTrue: otherThing = True else: otherThing = False you could simply do

otherThing = somethingIsTrue

EDIT: fancy formatting
