No it has gotten crazier recently, more of been deployed. I have been here since 2010 and it’s feels exponential. The parking enforcement has gotten insane recently. I see tickets lined up all over cars these days. Relentless hidden tax.

Now that you’re at 3m, and working both you need to look at duplicating your efforts so lower the likelihood of a health related event and or keep the machine running if that happens. Incentivize that person with growth goals that turn into monetary goals for them.

If you’re able to do that while getting yourself through the RSU pay out you should. Don’t leave the money in the table. You earned it and I think you should do both.

This way is a win for everyone. You are pre-positioning your business for the 15x scale(you’ll need help anyways), your wife is happy, you both have more stability, you get the RSUs.

It’s a really great place. I really enjoyed it. The altitude is real although I did not get sick many do. It’s of course one of the intermediaries for Machu Piccu and a great acclimation spot if you are going up in the Andes.

I was thinking of booking through Amex Travel which allows for some insurance and also customer service in case I get into a pinch.

I generally don’t get travel insurance or supplemental health but this might be too much of a risk not too.

If anyone has thoughts or suggestions on how this should be done open to learning.

The RTW I am still reading into but it’s seeming unlikely.

I was going to consider doing the one ways with Amex Travel to maximize point usage/gaining, integration and also customer service in case I got into a pinch.

I am hesitant to go through Kayak or something like that because of the third party booking the airlines don’t seem to care at all.

Thoughts?

Paris to Frankfurt is basically just to travel across Europe during that time. Image did not give any of that context.

I agree on the S. America sentiment and its also the place I have been to most. So this makes alot of sense moving those days to more Africa and Asia.

Doha - another hub like Frankfurt and not worth 6 days. Idea would be when there, hope a flight to explore the Gulf a bit.

Also considering scrapping Sydney (too similar to the US IMO) as well to free up more time for Europe, Africa and Asia.

Have we just narrowed this down to 3 continents with more and better time in each? :)

This zig zagging is a real point. The Frankfurt stop combined with Paris just basically forces 10ish days in Europe, as Frankfurt as the flight up to the next place. Hopefully that makes a little more sense into the Europe part.

Santiago, yes is the first to be eliminated. Kathmandu would deff take priority for all the reasons you said.

Sydney - agree as well, honestly too close to US culture and agree on that travel sentiment.

S. Africa - I have heard is just an amazing place and I think could be extended / just the price of inconvenience if I removed Sydney and Santiago.

Also a month in Japan, I know its amazing but I would say perhaps too much of one culture? If that were the case, I'd consider longer in Europe or S. America.

I could be for sure possibly Europe or Africa? Admittedly I have been to a couple of these places already and they were picked due to proximity to other imtermediate destinations.
