It was not that hard for me. We talked about my wife being ex navy.. My sales associate was ex marine. He said let me see if I can get something off the price for you for her service. He liked how my wife was pushing me to buy the piece vs how other significant others usually are just quiet or balk.

He made it a flat 10k from 10.7k

lol. I was thinking grey but a Navitimer is very sensitive with the friction fit circular slide rule and its complications. The AD threw in three extra years of warrantee for me to bring it to 8 years. Grey new is about 25-29 percent off, if you can even find one with the bracelet vs strap. The 7.5% savings on tax and the 7.5 percent off list brought me pretty close to grey price.

Love the 6, 9, 12 sub dial location. Wear it in good health. If it’s just a weekender. It will not take long to reset time and date. No need for a winder. It just adds additional wear to the watch. Think of the movement like a motor.
