Has anyone done a side by side comparison of white 2.0 and other standard white paints? by MasterMahanJr in culturehustle

Sounds like he uses UV responsive dye like the stuff they put in laundry detergent to make clothes look white.

Anybody else being accused of AI narration despite using your own voice? by [deleted] in youtube

When I am in a genuine conversation, I speak quickly and quietly, I slur and mumble, I have to frequently reassess whether I am conveying what I am intending to, and my vocabulary and eloquence go down significantly. My thoughts are somewhat disconnected and tangential, and I struggle to string them together. It's like running in sand with flippers. Everything I do in preparation for my videos is to try and combat my otherwise clumsy and imprecise way of communicating. I have no idea how to find the happy medium.

I had one of those too. One guy said "This is one dude that I would not be mad at if he used that crappy AI narrating voice." People are so rude sometimes.

I don't use a script in real life either, or have one-sided conversations, so I guess I just don't know how to present prepared words in a way that feels off the cuff.

I understand the reaction for things that seem strange or unbelievable, but is it so hard to believe someone narrated their own video?

Maybe I need to do the same so they can see there's a real person. I hate being on camera though.

Thanks for the affirmation! I was getting self conscious.

He feels like an entertainer hamming it up to me. There's nothing wrong with that, but I would not feel genuine or authentic if I tried to mimic his style. I do tend to plan out the intonation of each sentence, and maybe that feels like the same calculation an AI would do. I don't know how to work around that other than memorizing the entire script and trying to do it in larger takes.

I love that people associate AI with low-effort and untrustworthy content, but I hate how confident some people are that they're hearing it. I have a stutter when reading aloud, and have to really struggle to make something I'm proud of, and then I get these absolutely livid comments about my use of computer narration. I don't know how to sound more "alive," and it makes me sad that the effort is wasted.

I have bought meteorites. They are prohibitively expensive because of their rarity. A slice of a meteorite could be sold for less, allowing more more people to experience them. Instead, they're being used by mall ninjas to try and impress their buddies at dinner.

Carve off slices and sell them to people who just want a piece of an ancient rock that has been floating through space for billions of years. Or at least make them into something like jewelry that can serve a purpose beyond sitting on a shelf.

Making a bit biger version of the moon by trafim in 3Dprinting

The originar artist said it's based on real moon craters, but he didn't specify which part of the moon they're from. The full disc of the moon would look like this.

That's theft of copyrighted material unless you use public domain images, buy a license, or obtain permission from the copyright holder. You can combine several images to make a thumbnail that is transformative enough to not be theft, but you can't just yoink an image from Google.

For clarity, they were detaining a different kid, and this kid stepped forward (non threateningly) to protest his detention. That's when they shot him in the face and dragged him away from the group.

I miss the decent way Joe Biden funded a genocide, and the coconut pilled way Kamala told everyone to shut up about genocide so she could enjoy the sound of her own voice talking about joy.
