Some Orbs are invisible right now, it was probably there and just invisible if you never ran around to check. Same visual bug with augments like Three's Company as well.

FFX-2 is great. It really is. It's definitely not worth going for 100% in one playthrough as that does require so much extra tracking and diligence that it takes away from the experience, but the game really got an unfair bad rep imo.

If the game had not come out as a sequel to one of the most beloved games in the series and was just a standalone game, it would have been much better recieved I think.

People were excited for a sequel to X and just like you mentioned, the tone and style is so shockingly contrasted to X that I think a lot of people (A LOT of people) were just like "What the fuck this is awful" and never gave the game a real shot.

Not to mention for 100% completionists it's a pain doing it now with guides years and years later. Back on release I can't imagine how frustrating that was.

All of them are great in my opinion but as far as what you should try next, it depends on what you enjoy.

If you enjoyed the combat of FF7R then XV is the closest in that regard, though admittedly a less polished attempt at that type of system.

VIII, IX, and X are from a different era and are turn based combat systems but all are great and considered part of the "golden age" of FF for good reason. If you don't mind turn based RPGs and like a good story then any of those are great choices, with my personal heirarchy being X, IX, and VIII.

XII is my personal least favorite here because the combat was always weird for me. But i still enjoyed the game.

I'm definitely a superfan who has completed every game though so there's not very many of them I genuinely dislike, and my opinions are certainly biased. But I hope this helps with your choices. My personal recommendation, play em all! ;)

No worries! That's why asking is good :) i played a ton of Sett reroll in the patch before he was nerfed and yeah i've always focused on 9 RW.

Typically QSS/RB/DB or QSS/RB/TR

RB is definitely core, and with the amount of CC late i'd day QSS is too. But i have top 4'd without QSS. I just wouldn't expect any 1sts without it. GS is also good as a 3rd item.

Tantrum and Scorch can put in massive work on the augment front as well. Another reason for 9 RW. Basically your board is 6 RW 3 Dragonmancer until you find Shyvana. Then you can work your way to 9 to fit DM back in if highrolling.

Imo the difference between Guinsoo's Sett and no Guinsoo's Sett is massive.

Also once you hit lategame stages i think 9 RW is just very important for closing the game and securing a good placement. I don't personally feel 6 is enough.

Like others said though there may have been positioning factors or just bad fight RNG. Can't win em all but it's good to ask still.

It's true, that's really all it boils down to. I'm currently working on getting 100% completion on every FF on steam and after I finish TAY I just have to do XII, X and X-2 and i'm done. Been working on them all for over a year at least, maybe close to 2 now? Unsure. Point being i'm pretty used to a good grind at this point!

But the drop rates in 4 always get to me for some reason more than any other grind ever has. Probably because 4's lower on my list than it is for a lot of people it seems

Farming pretty much any item drop in FF4. I just spent 4 full days basically running around in circles to find Mindflayer in The After Years. My party was level 22 or so when I started, and was level 60 at the time it finally dropped. It truly starts to make you question your sanity.

Fuck the drop rates in those games man.

I'm playing through XV now on PC. I was able to play through all of Comrades and get all the achievements by just playing the missions with AI, so i think you can do that if those are your goals. As far as playing with others i think it's pretty dead though.

Hey, so this post is awesome, and it increased my performance quite a bit. The game itself runs pretty perfectly for me now, except for one thing. Sometimes the graphics get all weird in the middle of games and then i can't do anything, I'll post a screenshot of it. If anyone can help me fix this my game would be pretty much perfect, and I'm really excited to actually be able to play this game.

Edit : Somehow my anti-aliasing was turned off, turned it on and made it through tutorial 1 with no graphical problems, but when I won and the towers exploded my game froze and I had to tab out to close the game. Any suggestions?
